I was highly recommended by a friend when I moved into the area and was looking for a dentist. I started with a cleaning where I found the amount was high but I agreed to the work. After going home, one of my teeth was loose. I made a new appointment shortly after and was told that the looseness of the tooth had nothing to do with their prodding. I was then told that they would try to save the tooth but it might need an implant. I agreed to the crown. The cost was $2500. Within a few days after the crown was inserted, it was loose again. I was now told that I would need an implant and they would apply the $2500 to the implant. I thought that was fair but I needed to see their "concierge" independent implant specialist. He came up with an outrageous price of $9300 for one implant. Now they were telling me that the $2500 would not be used for his work, only future work. So obviously, I was not going to continue with this practice. I feel like I through over $3100 in the garbage. It feels like I went to a used car salesman not a dentist. Do not be fooled, it's strictly about the money here. The dentists will not quote prices. Be wise and avoid them

She had to go to another dentist to correct. Dr. Navi is a friendly guy and i really wanted it to work out but realized they will say anything to get Your money. Poor service.

My family and I visited this office four weeks ago and were very pleased with our initial…read moreexperience. Dr. Golestani was extremely informative and kind, and Dr. Natalie was wonderful with my children. During that visit, it was recommended that my 7-year-old son have a baby tooth extracted because his adult tooth had already begun to grow behind it, and the baby tooth was not loose. Fast forward to today, and we had an appointment scheduled for Friday, 12/13/2024, for the extraction. On Tuesday, my husband called the office with questions about the procedure, specifically regarding the use of laughing gas and the numbing process. He first spoke with Chelsea at the front desk, who was very polite and provided some answers. She also emailed us instructions to review before the visit. After reading the instructions and discussing the call, we had additional questions, so my husband called back. The second time, he spoke with a male staff member whose name we didn't catch. Unfortunately, the information he provided was unclear, and there seemed to be a misunderstanding about what we were asking. We wanted to know if laughing gas was a mandatory part of the procedure, as I recalled having a similar extraction as a child with just numbing, no gas. Additionally, we were curious about why we were instructed to give our son 1 tsp of Benadryl an hour before the procedure and wanted to understand the rationale behind that step. We also noticed that the instructions stated parents would need to wait in the waiting room during the procedure, which concerned us. After several calls, my husband mentioned that the last two people he spoke with--the male staff member and Edy, the office manager--were rude. He understood they might have been frustrated with the repeated calls, but their tone was unprofessional and unacceptable. Hearing this, I decided to step away from work to call the office myself. When I called, Chelsea answered and, as before, was kind and tried to help. She explained that Edy, the office manager, would be better able to address my questions but was on lunch at the time. Edy later returned my call, but we missed it, so I called her back. While Edy answered my questions, she did not apologize for the way she spoke to my husband. On Wednesday, I called again to speak with Chelsea because I appreciated her politeness and wanted to see if we could request an exception to allow one of us to stay in the room with our son during the procedure. Chelsea informed me that their director did not permit parents in the procedure room. While she wasn't rude, this policy left us feeling uncomfortable. To gain more perspective, we contacted three other pediatric dental offices to ask about their procedures for baby tooth extractions. Each of them said parents were welcome in the room, as if it were standard practice. After this, my husband and I decided to postpone our son's procedure and cancel the appointment at this office. At 4:15 PM, I called the office to cancel the appointment. My call went to voicemail, and I received a text message stating that the office was closed. However, their website clearly showed they were open until 6:00 PM. Out of curiosity, I called again using a different number, and the male staff member answered the phone. I told him who I was and mentioned that I had been sent to voicemail earlier and received a text stating the office was closed, which was untrue. I also brought up my husband's earlier experience with him and Hedy, expressing our disappointment. It's unfortunate because I really liked Dr. Golestani. However, due to the way the front desk staff--specifically the male employee and Edy--handled this situation, we will not be returning to this office. As a family visiting for the first time, we had valid concerns and questions about a procedure for our young child. We did not appreciate the dismissive attitude, the rude tone, or the misleading voicemail and text. As the first point of contact for patients, the front desk staff should be kind, patient, and professional. I wish I could let Dr. Golestani know directly about how we were treated because this experience does not reflect well on the office overall.

Avoid this dental practice!…read more This place is a money pit and they routinely up charge their services without permission from the parents. My 7 yr old daughter required services from this practice and while the dentist was good we would get unusually high bills for additional services that weren't explained prior to the appointment. What put the icing on the cake for me, after dealing with many of these up charges, was one of the receptions indicating that they needed to give my daughter nitrous oxide as anesthesia so that the dentist could on a spacer. I told the receptionist that we are declining that service and they did it anyway, without my consent. And to add insult to injury, they insisted that I pay for it!!! This place prioritizes profit over patient relationships and their nickel and diming coupled with the rudeness of the office manager made me change dentists. They will offer you unnecessary procedures/services and be rude to you if you do not consent. Steer clear of this place.

If the rating was only for their customer service I would give it a negative (unfortunately 1 star is lowest). However, Dr. Dmitry Kucher, seems to care about his patients and conviction with providing dental care - if the rating was solely based on Dr. Dimtry's dental care (excluding customer service) then I would be happy to give this a higher rating. However, my rating and review is low because of this terrible customer service experience. If this receptionist stays employed then I would never recommend anyone dealing with her. We've are not going back - tons of other dental practices in the area who treat you like a human being. Background: Billing and service dispute as a new patient. Worst ever, phone receptionist intentionally hung up on me when I called about my billing inquiry and rudely interrupted me several times, threatened to call police on me if I showed up in the office, insulted my competency and asked if I know anything about medical industry's standard practice of care. I only needed a cleaning and was trying to find something convenient and local. My insurance covers two free cleanings a year. Detail: When I first called for a new appointment, I explicitly informed the receptionist for a cleaning only (no interest in anything else). However, after going in for the cleaning, they billed me for both a cleaning and a comprehensive oral exam. I called to understand and to ultimately dispute the billing (for the oral exam). But the receptionist who picked up the phone was extremely defensive. I told her this is not what I asked for when I made the appointment. She said its 'standard of care practice' to provide oral exam for new patients. I was very explicit when I first called to make the appointment that I'm only interested in cleaning. She did not explicitly mention that new patient require oral exams. I told her, she should have been more transparent about their policy (nothing on their website, nor did they mention all new patients require an oral exam). The receptionist then got very defensive and told me she was going to hang-up on me. I told them if they hang-up I would go to their office to speak to them directly because I still didn't finish speaking. She said she would threaten to call the police on me if I showed up. I only wanted to go in and speak to someone in person since the receptionist has no interest or care about what I was saying. She abruptly hung-up. I called back a second time telling her to cancel my other appointment (scheduled for my spouse) - she continued to interrupt me... I ended up going into the office and spoke with Dr. Dmitry Kucher - good guy and explained the situation. He was understanding and apologized for his employee's behavior (mentions she has a very short fuse - guess she treats all his customers/patience like this). Extremely disappointed and never been threatened by anyone to have police called - especially an inquiry regarding an incidental billing charge. Overall: would never recommend this receptionist/customer service. Although Dr. Dmitry seems to be competent, he still needs to be more transparent about pricing and much better job at hiring quality employees.
