Spent hundreds of dollars "fixing" my tooth with Dr Bourgon's office. I did not have dental insurance at the time and paid out of my own pocket. When the work was done, the tooth was still terribly aching. The assistant brushed me off by saying, I should wait 6 months for the pain to stop as the tooth is healing. Now, more than a year later I came back in unbearable pain, as the tooth Dr Bourgon worked on never stopped aching and got much worse. The pain was so bad it was keeping me up at night. During my visit nothing was done about it. Doctor admitted, that at the time of initially working on my tooth, she wasn't sure which procedure I need & that I need to see a specialist now, when the things got worse. Instead of a referral, I was told, I should wait for a call for 2 weeks and seek contact myself if no one calls me. Really? I'm in an excruciating pain now and I should wait 2 weeks for someone to maybe call me, maybe not? At the end of my visit one of the assistants came to me & told me it was my own fault that my tooth aches as I must be grinding my teeth at night. Why does it ache only at that tooth, that wasn't fixed properly and nowhere else? Once I made my way out to reception, I told the receptionist that I do not think it's fair to charge me for the visit where no work was done and that was caused by incomplete dental work from the previous visit. The receptionist discussed this with the doctor and said that their fees are awfully outdated and low and that my full total for today's visit is $15. I paid the money as I didn't think $15 was worth arguing. Only to find out that my actual total was $160 and they had put $145 through my insurance without my consent. Terrible experience and I'm still in excruciating pain with zero solution and hundreds of dollars gone into nowhere. Don't go to this office if you want healthy teeth and good service. read more
