I just happened to find out that Rich Tobin had a Yelp page and decided that I just had to leave a…read morereview. Rich married my husband and I VERY LAST MINUTE at Bacara on the beach back in 2004. We were so lucky to find him and were thrilled that he was able to perform a nondenominational ceremony which is exactly what we wanted. We loved and appreciated Rich so much because he was so easy to work with. Super patient and able to answer all our questions. Plus, he was able to grab us a marriage license in such a short amount of time. Not that he can still perform that magical miracle nowadays but back then he made it happen. We had an actual wedding scheduled with family and guests a few months after Rich married us but my husband being the impatient person he is decided we just HAD to get eloped and get married there and then by ourselves on that beach. It was really the best decision ever. I really highly recommend for this for all couples. Get married on your own somewhere and have the wedding party later because that special moment will your own forever. And you will remember it well instead of having that stress of dealing with keeping others happy at your party. Anyway, back to Rich. He has wonderful energy and light making him the best officiant to have marry you. I can't recommend him enough. And for the record, my husband and I are still married and in love as we were way back in 2004 and we now have 3 children with one of them going off to college in a month. True love exists! Let Rich make it happen for you! Wherever you are, Rich. Thank you. We will never forget you.

As a fellow photographer, I'll admit--I'm very particular about how I'm captured. But Ashleigh has a rare gift: she sees people in their best light, both literally and figuratively. She brings out an effortless confidence in me, and somehow always manages to capture images that feel both editorial and deeply personal. There's a magic to her work--an authenticity and beauty that shines through in every frame. Her eye is impeccable, her direction is gentle yet clear, and her editing style is elegant without ever feeling overdone. I trust her completely and feel so lucky to have been in front of her lens over the years. If you're looking for someone who can truly see you and bring out your best, Ashleigh is it.

We had the absolute best experience with Matt Roberts from Rewind Photography for our Santa Barbara…read morecourthouse wedding. From the very beginning, Matt was incredibly detailed, thoughtful, and prepared. His website alone provided so much helpful information about the Santa Barbara courthouse wedding process and answered questions I had not even thought to ask yet. Once we booked, Matt continued to go above and beyond. He helped us create a clear timeline for the day, explained where to meet, planned photo locations around the courthouse, gave practical tips about the Hall of Records/security process, and even helped us think through how to include our children and family in the photos in a way that still allowed us to have intimate moments as a couple. His communication before the wedding made everything feel organized and calm. On the wedding day, Matt was amazing. He knew exactly where to go, how to guide us, and how to keep the day flowing without making it feel staged or stressful. He helped us stay in the moment instead of worrying about "being the moment." He was professional, warm, creative, and incredibly generous with his time. He even built in extra flexibility to make sure we got the moments and pictures that mattered most to us. After the wedding, his communication was just as thoughtful. He explained the editing process clearly and sent us beautiful preview photos within just a few days. The previews already captured the feeling, flow, and joy of the day so perfectly that we are even more excited to see the final gallery. Matt's knowledge of the Santa Barbara courthouse is outstanding, not only from a photographer's perspective, but also from a bride and groom's perspective. He truly understands how to make the experience feel smooth, meaningful, and beautiful. We are so grateful we found him and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone getting married at the Santa Barbara courthouse or looking for a photographer who genuinely cares about the full experience, not just the final photos.
