We met with only one photographer prior to our wedding. We knew the second we met Brandon that B&E was the only choice for our wedding photos. Brandon was professional, very easy to talk to... it felt like we'd been good friends for years! If you need a photographer for any event, B&E should be your first choice every time. I cannot fully express how highly I recommend working with B&E photography!!! I worked with Brandon to capture my proposal to my girlfriend without her knowing. He did a phenomenal job, and took many pictures that she and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. Hiring B&E: I was proposing in Santa Barbara, and had never been there before, so I found B&E on Yelp. I had looked at some other photographers' work, but what I liked about B&E compared to the others I saw was that to me the pictures were done in a way that focused on capturing the moments, and focusing on the people having them, rather than being overly artistic and making some type of statement. As it turned out, I couldn't have made a better choice. I got in touch with B&E and Brandon sent me examples of several other times he had done the exact same type of event for other guys who were proposing. I liked his work, so I decided to go ahead and hire B&E. Brandon explained to me how the process would work, answered all of my questions, and we set a date and time for the proposal. This ended up being only the start of working with Brandon. Planning: As I worked on choosing the location, Brandon discussed a few things with me that helped me make up my mind. Once the location was chosen, and I was in the process of communicating with people at that location to get things right, Brandon talked to them for me to help make sure we would be seated in the best possible spot for the pictures. Talk about some amazing customer service! The proposal: What a fantastic day that was. My girlfriend and I did a few fun things earlier in the day, before heading to the location I was going to propose. We had a few delays, so I subtly got ahold of Brandon and let him know. He said it wasn't a problem, and we pushed the start time back a little. As my girlfriend and I were settling in at the location (Deep Sea Tasting Room in SB, highly recommend it!) I saw Brandon arrive and get set up without arousing her suspicion. Later I even got a fun picture of her smiling with him hiding in the background taking pictures of us! He took some more pictures as we did our wine tasting, and then of the proposal moment when it came. She said yes, and the photographs were beautiful. Afterwards, I introduced her to him (she was very happily surprised), we took a few nice pictures there, and then headed to the nearby beach for to take some engagement photos. Brandon was an absolute pro through the whole thing, and a really nice, friendly, and fun guy on top of it all. The service afterwards: I added this last little section because I was seriously impressed with the quality and speed of B&E's work. As we were parting ways after the proposal Brandon told me that he would send us a link to the pictures in 10 days or so, and they'd mail me a flash drive soon after. We had the link to all of the pictures in 2 days, and the flash drive arrived later that week! B&E is the best! Brandon, thank you again. I had been working with the folks at the Santa Barbara Zoo as I planned to propose to my giraffe-loving girlfriend. We live in Orange County and I wanted to propose to her after feeding giraffes, and the SB Zoo was the place I decided to make it happen. I was referred to Brandon by Stefanie, event coordinator at the Santa Barbara Zoo. I explained that I wanted a photographer to capture the moment, and maybe a few pictures after the moment. She told me Brandon has done good work there before. We were not disappointed! From the first time we spoke on the phone, Brandon was quick to respond to any questions/concerns that I had. He explained his availability and quickly gave me a quite for the services that I was looking for. We were in touch many times leading up until the day, making sure everything was in place. Brandon got was in place by the giraffes prior to our agreed time, and texted me that he was in place. He was discrete (paparazzi style) in taking photos before and during the proposal, and after she said yes, he was right there to take our photo with the giraffe. From there we took photos around the zoo grounds and talked with Brandon. He is very nice. After we finished getting photos he explained that he would edit the photos and post them online and mail us a flash drive with the photos. The proposal was son Saturday. The photos were edited and online on Tuesday! (Which allowed us to start designing our save the date cards) Brandon does great work, very professional, and timely in providing a finished product. Brandon photographed my 40th birthday party. The images were fabulous. He was not intrusive, he took wonderful candids, and really captured the spirit of my party.
