Law-uy is a soup loaded with veggies and with a lovely broth flavored by aromatics of lemongrass and ginger. I loved how the broth was very clear and crisp and it was definitely a mouth cleanser. Every veggie was crisp and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the place was really nice, we got there around opening time and it was very homey and warm. We took off our shoes and the wood floor was nice. The staff were all attentive. Ended with some chocolate ice cream to hit the spot. If you're ever in Siquijor, definitely check this place out!

Depending on what you order u get seated on a boat at the dock. They had about 6 boats operating when we were there. You can start eating when u get on board. All the food (buffet) style is in the middle and you just walk around the table getting as much food as you want. Just be careful, they dont have multiple plates, u only get 1 food plate and 1 soup plate. So dont make too much of a mess. The food was ok, typical filipino foods. When we fiest got on less than 1/5 of the table was full but they waited about 20 min until all the tables were full before they set sail. The boat ride was enjoyable seeing the beutiful river banks with the wind in your hair. the only thing was the tables were so close to each other we were climbing over each other. It was served on a sizzling platter. It had lots of seafood - fish and shrimp and the coconut sauce was very tasty. I also ordered the Pinakbet vegetables. Also very well done and a huge serving. They were out of eggplant but that didn't matter. The other fresh vegetables made up for it. They let me know before I ordered. The sunset here was spectacular.
