Brought them back to see if there was any way I adjust the belt loop & I was told to get a smaller belt. No other offer to help in any way was extended. Reason I got the boys size is because I don't fit into the men's size for #BrooksBrothers so the sales consultant was kind enough to find slacks from the boys department for me. I thought they would help somehow with a goodwill gesture if I bought additional slacks to replace these but I think I have too high expectations for this place. Good news though - some homeless chap in Birmingham, AL will be strutting some decent slacks around town.

The worst area is usually the cosmetics and accessories (to the far right in the store). If you like to dig through the additional markdowns, it's not unusual to find items broken, sampled, etc. Same for the additional mark clothing; every once in a while those racks look more like thrift racks than clearance, but once you find that diamond in the rough it can be worth it. I do wish this location got more of the special occasion pieces, but either I always miss them or they go to different Rack locations. If you've got the time, it's a great place to find great prices on everything from budget-friendly brands to designer brands.

I booked an appointment online at Jos A. Bank for my husband's Valentine's Day suit fitting. I…read moreaccidentally selected the wrong date, and when I called the store, I was told no one knew how to change it and that I needed to rebook online. The system would not allow me to modify it, so I ended up creating a new appointment under my name instead of my husband's. When we arrived, we were greeted and assigned to a young associate. While he was polite, it was clear he needed more training. He had difficulty locating the right suit jacket and did not ask about preferred material, style, or fit. I ultimately had to step in and select better quality and style options myself. After directing us to the fitting room, he left to assist other customers. I noticed another associate assisting a customer nearby, and he was excellent. He measured his client, discussed styles and alterations, and was very attentive. After my husband tried on pants that were too long for his liking, I asked that associate if we were supposed to be measured. He said yes and even suggested a more tapered pant style that would better suit my husband. He then informed our assigned associate of what we needed and encouraged him to assist us properly. From that point forward, the service improved. Overall, the experience was okay. I do not believe anyone intentionally dismissed us, but I did book an appointment with the expectation of being assisted throughout the process. We were there less than 30 minutes, and I don't feel that was too much to ask.

Don't make your emergency another persons emergency....well I did...and the result is in the review I was in Birmingham for a job, just so happened that a friends wedding was occurring while I was here...I hemmed and hawed about going, didn't have the attire and this was an elaborate affair. I called before going to see if it was remotely possible to get fitted for formal wear....no problem right ? I gave them an hour and 20 minutes from my arrival to when I needed to be seated at the venue 5 miles away... I thankfully spoke with Kyla at the store, when I arrived she was fastening her superwoman cape and tightening up her boots, trying to keep her true identity secret from those around her. It was a whirlwind, I didn't even truly realize what she actually accomplished until I was sitting at the ceremony on time in my seat... It's really hard to express my gratitude for service above and beyond the call of duty, she kept reminding me every time I apologized that this was her job...we are lucky when we run into ANYONE that combines faith, passion, understanding and commitment to excellence when performing their job. EVERYONE at the store was helpful & polite, a sign a great management and expectations at all levels... So Kyla, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being you, your professionalism is at the top of the spectrum, you are amazing performer and the person I would call in any emergency !!

We explained the situation and he got hostile saying," would you buy this", basically calling us liars so we weren't happy with the customer service but we got in touch with corporate and they were able to settle it for us! Ps the managers name was Paul and he wouldn't give his name, I overheard him saying it to someone else.
