Most importantly, she made me look the prettiest I have been...everrr! :D This review is for both the makeup trial as well as the day of the wedding. To be honest, I worked with Ara before when I was still in the hair and beauty industry and I was always a fan of her work! Her hairstyles are dreamy and her makeup style is just flawless. I know there are makeup artists who want to show that they ca do edgy makeup to bridal. With Ara, her main goal is to make every woman's makeup fit her style and personality. During the makeup trial, since I don't wear a lot of makeup on a regular basis (actually, I do not wear makeup at all!), I relied on her to make the best decision for me. And because of that, she did not use heavy make up on me, which I appreciated a lot! She also listened to my husband's requests and adapted quickly (request for airbrushed makeup and hair style) and prepped my makeup and hair extensions to be ready for those changes. She was very easygoing and comfortable to work with, making the session fun and go by quickly! On the day of the Wedding day, while everyone was enjoying breakfast, Ara arrived so early! I was actually surprised at how early she was (2 hours before call time). But, it was so that she could set-up the makeup stations and so that my entourage could get their makeup done first. Ara and her team took care of my bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law and I. We stayed on a good schedule (going over the scheduled time by just a few minutes) and had a lot of FUN! They were on time, worked efficiently, and no one felt rushed at all. After the ceremony, she and her team touched up all our makeup and she also changed my hair for the reception! So we attended a bridal fair as our last option to find the artist for our big day. That was where we met Ms. Malou Hibaler. She was one of the few MUA's that gave a trial makeup for free. I still vividly remember that moment when I approached Ms. Hibaler. She was eating sandwich. It was already 8:00pm and clearly she had a tiring day. I asked her if she was willing to do a trial makeup on my wife. She smiled, cleaned her hands, and went ahead with her demonstration. She was silent, speaking only to ask about what look my wife would want on our wedding. My wife liked the result and she booked Ms. Hibaler right there. On our wedding day, my wife looked radiant, stunning, and natural. She didn't have a ton of makeup on--or so I thought. Ms Hibaler even did my make up. Well, actually she just put some powder on my face and helped in keeping my hair in place. I highly recommend her. She was very professional and she arrived earlier than the set time (our wedding was in Batangas). She worked silently and without fuss. She even waived her lunch until everyone that she needed to apply makeup on was ready for the occasion. She also retouched my wife's makeup when needed, even during the reception.

He sounded confident when I asked him what he would do, and the color I want. He did the whole base color and it was not the color we agreed about, then he did the balayage I was hoping the highlights will be better as I explained again what color I want to achieve (golden yellowish brown, I specifically ask to avoid tinge of red) In the end he turned my hair into orange, brown but very orangy. When I told him my expectation again, about wanting the balayage color to be yellowish golden, not orange, he said he did went to a seminar on how to do balayage and threw the bowl of color and walked out. Charged me P7,500, actually more, for a cheap looking hair color. VERY RUDE STYLIST, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. PEOPLE BEWARE. I dont know why he got upset and wanting to prove he knows how to do balayage but in the end he was not able to make his customer happy by following what color was discussed early on.
