I asked for and was given an estimate by James (Business Owner) to replace our furnace and air…read moreconditioner. The price was within our budget for equipment I like, Rheem. It comes with a 10 year parts, 1 year labor warranty. The day of installation, James and his employee arrived as promised and removed my old equipment and installed the new. The installation required replacement of some copper lines and pvc run under the house as well as some fabrication of sheet metal. They worked steadily and methodically. They probably could have finished sooner if I didn't ask questions, however, James had told me previously that it would be about 5 hours. That proved to be very accurate to within just a couple of minutes. Everything was done well. I paid particular attention to the soldering of the copper lines and the bending/alignment of same. I haven't seen or done it better. Job was finished, new thermostat installed and system tested. Work area cleaned and everything hauled away. Now it's only been a day, but having watched the installation and having confidence in the brand, I have questions as to the quality of work or the brand. I feel we were treated well, treated fairly and recommend Show-Me Heating and Cooling in Springfield, MO (there are others) without hesitation.

I called Thad based on the recommendation of someone else. When I told him my issue (furnace would…read morenot light), he told me he had an out of town job, but would swing by on his way back around mid to late afternoon. He kept in touch with me throughout the day, letting me know that the out of town job was taking longer than expected. He arrived at my house after normal business hours, and had my problem diagnosed and fixed in about an hour. The cost to fix my issue was considerably less than what I was expecting (parts and labor) given that it was after hours. I would definitely recommend him!

When it's way below freezing and you also have a child and animals, it can make it imperative to get your power on as soon as possible. Rick was incredibly helpful and walked my partner through what he needed to do/check to see if our power would come on and if that didn't work, he said he would be over to check it out himself. Thank goodness what he walked my partner through doing worked and got our power back on! Rick was incredibly helpful and we are all so thankful he was actually "24 hours" and was able to answer our call.

Talked to a guy named Ben about wiring a generator outlet for my home one day. I asked him for a…read morewritten estimate and was told it would cost $120 because I lived in Fordland about 15-20 mins from Springfield, MO. He told me that he could come out the next day at 9am and if I give him the job they will cut the estimate in half. We discussed what I was looking for, which was a whole house generator hookup, not a six circuit transfer box and hookup. He said ok, I'll be there tomorrow at 9am. So, I told my wife that there wouldn't be power for about 4hrs. So, she planned to be gone running errands during that time. 9am came no show. At 10am I called his number and I immediately got a text from him saying I'll call you right back. Now, it's 3pm and no call, no tex, no nothing. I stated to him I needed to get this done today January 22, 2026. I could have hire someone else to do the job if I had known he was going to not show up and not call. It was very unprofessional and just disrespectful. Even if he couldn't because he had an emergency job or something, a text saying I couldn't make it would have made all of the difference. It would have given me the option to get someone out her to do it. I just believe if you give someone your word, you keep it. If you can't you own up to it. All a people have today are their reputations. The impression you give is the impression you are judged by. It's unfortunate.

I'm not sure the guys name, but this is the second time my home warranty sent this guy out with…read morethis company and the second time it got mis diagnosed or he couldn't get it, so they would've needed to come back out, which the home warranty was not going to cover. The first time he came out, it was for my water heater. I knew that's what was wrong with it, but he didn't have the tool to check it, so he said I needed all new pipes. Obviously the warranty wouldn't cover that, so I called for a second opinion and thank goodness I did, cuz it was in fact the water heater. This time around, my pipes are clogged and he only had a 30ft snake or whatever he used, so he "couldn't" clear the clog. They called the home warranty to get approved for a bigger machine and/or to cut the pipe after finding the clog. He told home warranty there was grass and woodchips in there, so cuz that's a "foreign object", it wouldn't get covered so they would want me paying out of pocket. I called for a second opinion and the same guy that came out last time for the water heater, came out and cleared my pipe in a half hour. He did not see any woodchips and/or grass. This guy is a joke and does not know what he's doing. I don't like really leaving reviews, but cuz this is the second time with this company/guy...I feel like they are a dirty company and cuz the home warranty will only cover so much, they would rather the warranty not cover so they can charge you a heck of a lot more. I will make sure my home warranty never chooses this company again if I need work done!
