Contacted him about doing a inspection on a chimney. He stated he would try to did it Monday if not then Tuesday between 4 and 4:30. Dale took an entire summer to build a 4' H brick wall around my patio area behind my house (he bid 3 weeks). He failed to show up many days because of weather, a bad partner, another job urgency, yadayadayada. When he was here he bitched about the weather, his suppliers, his helpers (which he couldn't keep), brought his disruptive dogs who escaped the truck several times and had more drama and issues than any one person I've ever known. He insisted he could build better gates than I could buy, cheaper and took that task on. He left the job with "bee holes" in the concrete, loose concrete all around, dead areas in my yard because of his concrete messes, and when the gates fell apart after 3 weeks, I texted him to ask if he could fix the gates, and he ripped me for being a horrible person (when he left he hugged me and told me how much he enjoyed working for me .... only because I just bit my tongue all summer to get him to finish the job and get the hell out of here) and told me how much he lost on the job (although I paid exactly what he billed me for) and he wasn't fixing anything.
