Nancy, was very rude and said they do not take appointments and she would put us on the list, which they were 2 weeks out. So we wait two weeks. The day before, they actually called to verify they were still coming. Then the day of, they called and said "we are just too busy today, you will have to reschedule in two months" For being an authorized Daikin dealer, I would expect better customer service. I would never ever call Henderson Heating and Cooling ever again. Poor customer service.

I read a lot of good reviews on the aire serv web site and decided to give them a shot. I was hoping they could come out Monday morning which they were able to accommodate. Within 15 minutes Jason arrived. I'm always cautious with service folks but Jason went straight to the thermostat turned off the system left the fan motor on and went under the house. I had a good sense he knew what he was doing. My initial assessment was a capacitor which was the case. It turned out the capacitor on the outside unit was also bad and replaced. All in all Jason was very professional, very detailed and I enjoyed reminiscing about our days in the Military. I will use this business again when the time comes and if I'm lucky Jason will still be there. A company with good business ethics.

Unit fried a heating element the first winter, Dave came and fixed it. then the unit froze the first week of summer. Dave was hesitant to come out, didn't seem to want to fix it. I had someone else come out but they dint fix the core problem but they got it to run. This is second summer, 2 years from install and it went out again. frozen. have 2 other AC guys come out this time (bigger companies, better trained AC guys) and they say. You have a freon link. be $600 or more to recharge. They say i have 1430 CFMs of intake with a 5 ton system that requires 2000 CFMs. They say this is burning up my system and that is why i have frequent breakdowns. So the other company wants $2500 to make the system work, $3500 if i want to do it right (as there were things that should have been installed that were not, Like an outside cutoff). The leak they think was poor install work or that it wasn't flushed with Nitrogen which apparently helps prevent leaks. Will cost me $500 min to add a sealer that MIGHT seal it. Also had a problem with my Nest thermostat. It was wired wrong and i was told to go get a thermostat that wasn't so fancy. After replacing i still have HUGE bills, just as big as the original gas unit I replaced. Last winter i paid over $450 for the 3 coldest months and only in spring when the unit barely ran did it drop down to the $175 mark. I got so ripped off. I thought he had my back. I was wrong. Should have gone with a bigger company not a one man show. Try FTS or Honest Abes, those are the companies that i paid to come out and diagnose my issues. I will wind up paying them big money to fix this bull$hit.

We spent a LOT of money with FTS for a HVAC system to replace our old one that performed very well and trouble free for many years. From day one the new 'high efficiency' system failed repeatedly. Our electric bill TRIPLED. To be fair, FTS did send us a check for a small part of that increase. One FTS Tech blamed it on, "Dirty power", and had me wading through snow during a cold snap just about every hour to physically reset the system. It was not, "Dirty power". I contacted the manufacturer of the system. They opened a, 'trouble ticket' and then did absolutely nothing to help us. Another FTS Tech said it was because of, "Low return air", and that we would need to cut in a new vent to increase it. This was not true. Later on another FTS Tech said he knew what was causing it... "Rain", he said. It was not because of, "Rain". That same Tech came back a week or so later and - quietly - replaced a computer board of some type that looked like something very important. After that the system actually worked - for a while. It failed again. The next Tech said a sensor had failed. This part was still under warranty. He could replace it for $749.00 if we wanted it to be guaranteed, or $499.00 if not. Nope. That was about all I was willing to take. I emailed the owner. Asked him to coordinate with us to come and remove their system. Of course, no response. We called another service company. They obtained the part (under warranty) from the manufacturer and replaced it for $125.00 - guaranteed! I'm old. Been around a long time. FTS has provided the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of service organization. That should tell you a lot. I do not recommend FTS.

This was just the charge for the part (service call/diagnostics was $99 -- which I'm fine with). Anyway... I called 2 other AC companies and showed them the invoice and they ALL said the capacitor part (at best) should have cost $30--$40). Hence ... charging $329 for a $40 dollar part is a bit of a markup. I will NOT be using them anymore, and I would recommend you not either -- they are NOT trust worthy.
