Nancy, was very rude and said they do not take appointments and she would put us on the list, which they were 2 weeks out. So we wait two weeks. The day before, they actually called to verify they were still coming. Then the day of, they called and said "we are just too busy today, you will have to reschedule in two months" For being an authorized Daikin dealer, I would expect better customer service. My parents wanted to leave a glowing, heartfelt review here in Yelp, but I had to explain that since they didn't use Yelp regularly as reviewers, their one-time review of a six thousand, emergency service--one that brought them great peace of mind and comfort--would probably get hidden like the two other reviews previously submitted about Fixed-To-Stay. Disclaimer: I have known the owner of FTS since I was six: 42 years! The Buckles are a high-principled family, who practice without preaching these principles in their everyday work. When years ago, I asked Casey about the name of his business (cos' I thought it sounded clumsy), he told me his primary concern was to emphasize the longevity of his work--not the speed...or the price. He wanted to emphasize that fixing it to stay meant not having to worry about shoddy workmanship turning into repeat repair visits. My own parents started struggling with repeat repair nightmares until I steered them to a company that had the same values as FTS. My point isn't to shill for FTS. I have never needed any HVAC work myself--let alone FTS's specific services. But a couple people did take the time to articulate their specific praises about FTS work, and it's a shame you have to scroll down and unhide them to read their testimonies. It's hard to navigate life and repairs and things that cost a lot of hard-earned money. Yelp tries to hedge against shills but sometimes--as I'm deep-down sure happened here--the proverbial babies are thrown out with the bath water. Cheers.

We spent a LOT of money with FTS for a HVAC system to replace our old one that performed very well and trouble free for many years. From day one the new 'high efficiency' system failed repeatedly. Our electric bill TRIPLED. To be fair, FTS did send us a check for a small part of that increase. One FTS Tech blamed it on, "Dirty power", and had me wading through snow during a cold snap just about every hour to physically reset the system. It was not, "Dirty power". I contacted the manufacturer of the system. They opened a, 'trouble ticket' and then did absolutely nothing to help us. Another FTS Tech said it was because of, "Low return air", and that we would need to cut in a new vent to increase it. This was not true. Later on another FTS Tech said he knew what was causing it... "Rain", he said. It was not because of, "Rain". That same Tech came back a week or so later and - quietly - replaced a computer board of some type that looked like something very important. After that the system actually worked - for a while. It failed again. The next Tech said a sensor had failed. This part was still under warranty. He could replace it for $749.00 if we wanted it to be guaranteed, or $499.00 if not. Nope. That was about all I was willing to take. I emailed the owner. Asked him to coordinate with us to come and remove their system. Of course, no response. We called another service company. They obtained the part (under warranty) from the manufacturer and replaced it for $125.00 - guaranteed! I'm old. Been around a long time. FTS has provided the worst experience I have ever had with any kind of service organization. That should tell you a lot. I do not recommend FTS.
