Rented bikes and headed off with my son towards Montauk lighthouse. About halfway my back tire went flat so I was kind of screwed... was not sure what to do- called the bike place, a young guy from Jamaica drove straight out and was there in about 30 mins. He sorted the bike out in formula one pit stop timing. He was super nice. They saved the day!

Dan dropped the bikes off at the Mattatuck train station and they were waiting for us when we arrived at 11 am, then we returned the bikes to him at the Southport train station, where he was waiting for us at our scheduled time of 8:45 pm. Bikes had comfortable seats, baskets, lights, and came with a helmet. He had asked us for our heights and provided bikes that correctly fit everyone in our party of 5. Great and reliable, and also a steal! I highly recommend both Dan's bikes as well as using bikes to get around North Fork.

I brought it to another bike store by the shore where they took the bike overnight and couldn't have touched the derailleur because the problem didn't change. Yesterday I took the bike to Wayfarer bike in New London, I dropped it off about 11am and picked it up at 4pm. This morning I took the bike out, I wanted to do 20 miles, but they did such a good job I went for 30 miles, these guys know how to setup a derailleur. I'll be back to see them again.
