May be one of the worst moving companies I have ever dealt with . Set up a time for moving a gun safe,Only two guy's show up and because that there was no easy way of moving it ( Because stairs were involved ) He was not able to get close to my porch either . This guy gets a attitude with me tells his helper to close up the back of the truck he is leaving . Would not recommend these people to someone who I hated .Worst ever !!!!!! read more

I selected Jones Moving and Delivery to move my piano after the conservatory of the College of Wooster recommended them. They dropped my piano from the back of the truck. They took the pieces of the piano with them. For over 4 months they have ignored calls from me and my insurance agent, and they have ignored calls and letters from my attorney. I purchased the additional insurance to cover the cost of the piano. When the piano was damaged, the owner stated that they would make it right. If you use Jones and they drop/destroy your piano, you will have to sue them to recover damages. read more

Our two movers did a job another company told us would take 4 movers for much more money. They managed to get a piano back through a couple really tight turns. They opened lids and doors and generally played Tetris until they got it where we asked them to. They went far above and beyond the call of duty and were incredibly good natured the whole time. While I hope I don't have to move the piano again any time soon, I will absolutely be calling them again when I do. Thanks! read more

The crew was very professional and careful with our older upright piano. Scheduling staff was pleasantly helpful. Only thing keeping this from being a 5 star score - timing of the delivery. At the time of scheduling they were insistent on a first of the day delivery. I requested end of day but they said the only way I could get it delivered at the price I was quoted was to take first of day. So after totally rescheduling my day and activities, they called the night before to say I would now be anywhere from 1-5pm. They came at just before 5. So my whole day was destroyed for a 10 minute delivery. That aside everything else went smoothly read more

My appointment for an estimate was scheduled for a Friday morning. I dropped my 2 dogs off at a doggie day care center by 8am in anticipation of the morning visit from Jones delivery (cost to me $60). By 4 pm that day I still had not heard from anyone affiliated with Jones Delivery. I called at 5 pm and again reiterated that I was waiting for an estimator by 6pm it was clear no one was coming and I went and picked up my dogs. I called on Sat. morning to see if anyone could come by for the estimate (website states that they are open from 10 am - 1pm). I can't say enough good thing things about Jones Delivery. I called with an emergency baby grand piano move and they were willing to accommodate me the very next day. They gave me a four hour window and promised to call 30 minutes before they arrived. Not only did they call in advance the morning of, letting me know exactly when they'd be there, but they arrived at the very beginning of that four hour window so there was no waiting around wondering when they would show. The movers were obviously experienced in how to break down and transport a piano, brought all the supplies necessary, and were extremely polite and courteous. They set up my piano, cleaned up after themselves, and left zero mess or any indication that they'd been there at all. As if that weren't enough, their pricing was VERY fair and competitive - they undercut everyone else I called by $100.00. Oh Jones Delivery, your response to my post is quite amusing, ficticious according to my detailed records on many accounts, but quite amusing. My belongings were originally stored with the former owners, you know, the "nice, responsive, honest" owners. You are correct there, however, I NEVER signed a contract that barred claims regarding infestation of moths. Please send this ficticious contract to me so that I might forward it to my attorney in Ohio. While arranging my move, being a wise consumer, I requested estimates from 3 moving companies and I did NOT take the cheapest; I hired the mover who offered insurance on my belongings in the event that they were damaged in transit. An educated move on my part. Not one of the movers backed out on me. The original mover I chose could not offer insurance since my belongings were "packed by owner". I received my belongings January 27th and unfortunately, I was hospitalized in February (I am disabled) and was unable to contact Jones Delivery. As soon as possible, I contacted Jones via their website, via an email address used by the old owners and previously used by Peter and after getting no response, I finally sent a registered letter and guess what, NO RESPONSE! I have NEVER received any letter from any attorney of Jones Delivery. In addition, why would it be the customer's responsibility to recoup storage fees that were overpaid? Any "legitimate" business would automatically refund these fees. I have never read a response from a business owner riddled with so many inaccuracies. Please Mr. Hascher, send me that contract and while you're at it, please refund my overpayment, reimburse me for the ruined wool rugs and the boxes of Spode Christmas china that mysteriously disappeared from your facility.
