Angela went over the cut sheet with me and we set a date for delivery. Her prices were cheaper than other local farms for grass fed beef. And if we had more space, we'd have ordered pork too! Angela was able to have our order delivered to a 1/2way point where we had another appointment happening. Everything is labeled and vacuum sealed! We also grabbed some bacon--sealed and fresh, though it was sliced much thinner than expected when we opened it. They also carry locally made jams, spices, and other pantry items. The staff was super friendly and even offered us a steak sample, which was a nice and tasty. They also offer takeout, and the food looked pretty tempting. Prices are on the higher side, likely due to the quality and sourcing of their products. My family has been coming here since before I was born. Of course their meats are amazing. It's a German butcher, so they will have all of the German sausages, cuts, sides and mustards. The staff and the customers are old friends. Everyone seems to know each other. Even though they are based on tradition, they are making new creations all of the time. This is a true Syracuse tradition and you should come, even if just to smell what a real butcher smells like.
