We both had a cup of Potato and Ham soup, and split a BLT. It was delicious, very fresh. Not skimpy on the bacon...at all. The sandwich was perfectly distributed. Much larger than I anticipated. Made with their local bacon and tomatoes. Loved the atmosphere, the cafe had a cozy vibe. We were seated next to the gas fireplace. We had enough privacy to talk, noise level was normal. Order your food at the counter, collect your condiments, napkins, and Salt pepper shakers at long counter. Then sit down and enjoy yourself, until they bring it out. Service was very quick. After we cleaned up our plates and table. They have a place for you to put your dirty dishes and cups, along with trash, and recycling. Then we went into the bulk grocery part to look around. We both ended up buying sweet treats for later. I bought a cherry fry pie. It was super fresh and tasty. I enjoyed it with my evening herbal tea. I also bought some rice and a few other staples. I will definitely be back for a 2nd trip. They have a lot going on. The place was super clean. Items easy to find. It's not all bulk, they have their items from small to bulk, so if you are in a 1 or 2 person household, do not let the bulk in their name scare you off. It's worth a trip, for some organic homemade items.

Their meat department is very good. Reasonable prices and the meat is well cut and fresh. Produce has almost always been fresh even though selection is limited compared to Wally World or Wegmans (Tops, ugh... no). Deli is a bit pricey, so wait for sales. This department does get busy every day at noon because local workers come here for subs and pizza. I truly hope Bliss stays open. It was bad enough to lose our small town pharmacy. If Bliss closes, we lose local access to fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, bakery, and more. We don't want to have to always travel to the next town to get essentials. Support your local stores!

Sadly, this is the first (only hopefully only) negative review i will submit to these review sites…read more I purchased a pork shoulder to cook over the weekend on Monday, July 7, shortly before closing (~30 minutes before). Later in the evening, my gf said the fridge smelled funny. By morning, the fridge smelled really bad of spoiled meat. I placed it in a plastic bag and attempted to return after leaving work early on Wednesday. (I had a doctor appointment Tuesday afternoon an hour away and couldn't complete the return.) The customer support person was very courteous and said she needed a manager and called for the woman in the office behind her. She, too, was courteous but paused to say she wanted to get approval from the meat department because it was over $20. Note she made a face when she opened the bag regarding the smell. (Purchase price $20.48). A woman and a man can up, and both smelled the product. Then the woman proceeded to tell me she would not complete the return because I didn't call the store the day I purchased it. Then, she went on a second defensive path to avoid a return. This involved telling me that the product smelled fine and was fine when I purchased it. Really??? Shortly thereafter, she identified herself as an owner. After a few minutes she offered a refund but only via store credit. I have never had an issue with buying any products in this store. However, I will NEVER shop at this store again. This is NOT how you treat your customers if you want to stay in business.

That said they were shocked at the cost of three deli sandwiches and some sides being the best part of $80. I reported that this was mentioned in other posts here and there seems to be no prices published. From that they concluded that the policy was to exploit tourists or non regulars. But charge the locals a more reasonable price. No proof but that definitely was the vibe. So drive few minutes further to the Switz. Unless you get the prices up front before placing an order.
