1 star - Unprofessional, unresponsive, and caused property damage We hired this contractor to repair a door at our home. During the repair, he shattered the glass in the door, leaving us with more damage than we started with. At that point, we expected accountability, follow-up, and a plan to fix what he broke. Instead, he ghosted us completely. It has now been 6-9 months of no communication. He has been unresponsive to calls, texts, and follow-ups, and he never returned to fix the damage. We were left with a broken door, damaged glass, and had to source another professional to clean up the mess. He still owes us money, time, and materials. This was not a scheduling issue or a misunderstanding, this was a clear case of property damage followed by total lack of professionalism and accountability. read more

Jonathan The Handyman - No follow-up, no repair, and no response - Handyman Near Me

Jonathan the Handyman was everything I hoped he would be. He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, fair in his estimate and affordable. We called him when our fence was damaged due to the heavy winds and rain. Jonathan responded quickly, in inclimate weather and fixed our fence. I couldn't recommend his services more highly. read more

Jonathan is a fantastic handyman. When we moved two household closets into just one closet, we began to panick. But Jonathan, the handyman, was there to ease our fears. After briefly explaining our situation, he knew exactly what to do. He arrived punctually and had already picked up everything in order to create an efficient "his and her" closet. He also worked to create a closet that was on our budget and talked to us about all of the options. We felt that we were in good hands and let him decide what was best. Overall, he created a perfect, sturdy, and efficient closet on our budget. Now we have more than enough space! I highly recommend Jonathan and plan to use his expertise for everything in the future! read more

Jonathan is a great handyman, he came to my house looked over what I needed to get done and said I can start on that now do you have time? I was elated that he wanted to start working on my projects as it was after 6pm. He also went to Home Depot with me to make sure I bought the correct items for my projects, that was an added plus I would have had no idea what to buy. His prices are fair his work is extraordinary, his demeanor, honesty and positive energy makes this man the handyman you want to do your home projects. read more

Knowledgeable, professional, very handy. Found Jonathan through Angie's List, needed to take out a sink in my food truck and do some other work. He showed up in a nice branded van with a ton of tools and I knew I was in good hands. He completely saved my ass and was reasonably priced. Switched out the whole sink, changed all the PVC piping around, changed the window and made my truck health department compliant. If I have any other issues he will be the first call I make. read more

Jonathan not only did a great job he exceeded my expectations for a wood flooring installation job over and over and over. I was completely expecting having to buy new baseboards for the project but he saved me hundreds of dollars by carefully removing baseboards and cleaning and painting them to my surprise, he taught me lots along the way and I asked if I could help and he treated me to essentially a fun filled training day where I learned almost everything there is to know about hardwood floor installation. He is professional, friendly and a overall genius when it comes to his line of high quality work. He will be my go to person every time from here on out! I highly recommend him, tell your friends, tell your family, tell everyone. Hard to find good honest guys like Jonathan! read more

Jonathan has completed two projects for me at my home. He found and repaired a water leak I had in my wall. He worked quickly finding and repairing the damage. Another time I purchased a new Dishwasher from Sears Outlet. Two days later when I was available after work he picked up the dishwasher, delivered and installed it. Very quick, professional and friendly. I will always consult Jonathan for any need I have, his rates are extremely reasonable. read more

I met Jonathan when I was getting ready to sell my other house and needed someone to do some minor repairs for me to prepare to sell. I was very impressed with his professionalism and ability to look beyond just the task at hand and point out things to me that would help me save money and he always had the time for me to add more to my list, often working past dark. He has done great work at my new house, building me a fence/gate for my porch and working on installing my electronics/media area. I am about to use him for a much larger project and he has been very good to look at my budget and my wish list and prioritize etc. I highly recommend Jonathon for any job, large or small. read more

Do NOT call this Handyman / Contractor! He is not honest, he does not keep his appointments or word. He did a bid for us months ago and he MEASURED blinds wrong. So the order now will cost us about $100 more and he not only bailed on the job but he doesn't care that he made a mistake and also took an appointment with us and we scheduled it for when the guest moved out. Be an HONEST man and tell us you are bailing instead of leaving a team hanging. Now our owners are out money and time. Then we asked him to simply CHANGE an estimate via email from HIS MISTAKE so we could get the new amount approved and e wouldn't even do this. Way to own mistakes and false promises. It's so easy to make things right when you mess up too, but he wasn't even interested. I wouldn't trust him to even hang my shower curtain. He will bid you $200 and then not even show. Many Many great companies and people out there to call - just not JOHNATHAN!!! read more

Jonathan came highly recommended by our landlord (business address in Banker's Hill). He was outstanding! Professional, honest, and responsible, pleasant to have around, and super-efficient time-management. Jonathan was easy to work with and did a great job on both the small and large projects we asked him to do. Super pleased with what he has done for us so far, and will be using him again at the office, and at home! read more
