The process I had today made me look outside of Doylestown Health as a whole because of how unprofessional and MEAN the interactions at this location were. Here's a summary of my experience: I called the number to make a new appointment. This lady was nice and said they would call me back and took my name and number. A few hours had passed and their office had closed so I assumed they would call back on Monday since it wasn't mentioned that they could potentially call after hours. At 4pm, which is when the office closed, I stopped keeping a close eye on my phone. At 5:11 pm I got a phone call from a lady named Kimberly, who's phone call I missed, so she left a voicemail instructing me to call back and hit option 1 on the phone. I called her back within a minute of receiving the voicemail. I hit the number 1 option on my key pad and it automatically ended the call. I tried this again 3 times and it kept ending it so I concluded this wasn't the correct option. The first "option" listed on the automated message was to dial 7, which was the provider on call. This seemed a little weird for me to call the provider on call but that's what I was instructed to do so I did it. I called and the provider sounded less than happy to receive my phone call and in fact HUNG UP before I could even get a full sentence out. Clearly I wasn't supposed to call that number, but you would think the provider could have at least heard my first sentence and nicely said this is the wrong line for this and redirected me. It was clearly an accident and could have been handled a lot nicer and, most importantly, more professionally. I was extremely disappointed with the results I got from today's efforts. I would have been fine calling back on Monday to try to schedule. The fact that the providers were so quick to be rude made me instantly change my mind and look at Penn and Jefferson health. Maybe work on better communication and phone etiquette and you won't lose patients from a basic interaction!

DONNA, the office manager is the problem…read more On Monday February 2nd 2026, I called there to confirm my appointment, and make certain they would take my insurance. We had previously discussed this but their first visit is like three or four months to get it so I needed to contact them to make certain my insurance was still okay. I called DONNA at 9:15 a.m., I called again at 1:15 p.m., and I called again at 4:15 p.m. The receptionist giggled and said she'll call you sometime before your 3:00 appointment tomorrow. First of all, every doctor's appointment requires you to confirm the day before or they will CHARGE you. The second of all, how dare they expect a patient to take a day off from work, and sit there and wait all day before a 3:00 appointment not knowing whether or not they are going to be able to be seen. I called to Wed make yet another appointment, and DONNA insisted that she called me on Monday evening. In fact she was so adamant to tell me that she called me, that when I told her my phone never rang I'll send you a screenshot of all of my calls for yesterday, that seemed to INFURIATE her. I guess it infuriated her because she obviously took a spa day to pamper herself or a day off that was so luxurious she just couldn't get her job done. And when she couldn't lie to me and convince me of something that is completely untrue, she then told me to go to hell I will never see the doctor and that is the end of that and she rudely hung up on me. It's funny, she was right there to answer the phone on Wed to tell me to go to hell. I guess she shows up for work on Wednesdays. Monday must be her day to sneak out of the office and have a nice long weekend and give the finger to her boss... and everyone else. I did everything I was supposed to do, and because she's so afraid of her own job, she literally denied me Healthcare. There's a reason why employers have the ability to fire people on the spot. I just hope someone that is so easily angered and obviously not doing her job, I just hope she's not handling any of the drugs. Thank God He kept me away from the lunatics that are inside of that office. Run for your life
