Dr. Patton saved my significant other's life, by catching a cancer situation and directing us to go…read moreimmediately to emergency. From there it was ICU and then hospitilization. Now my lady is going through treatment but hopefully all will be ok. If it was not for Dr. Patton's alertness and awareness to the danger of what the lab results showed, my significant other would have not been with me today. I give full credit to Dr. Patton for saving her life!

Dr. Patton was my Father's doctor for 32 years. When he got diagnosed with Lung Cancer and went in…read moreHospital she made no attempt to go see him or even CALL HIM! Insult to injury she did not attend his memorial nor send a card to his wife (also his patient). Her lack of sensitivity speaks volumes about her lack of character. She abandoned my Dad in his time of need and he was both hurt and confused on top of dealing with the surprise diagnosis that took him out in less than a month. Dr. Patton KNEW he had a smoking history (he'd been quit for 35 years). When he complained of chronic fatigue it NEVER dawned on her that it could be Cancer. With his history this should have been one of her first concerns...NOT! Any doctor worth their salt knows that a former smoker is at high risk for Cancer. He had probably smoked for 30 years. Dad was really good about keeping on top of his health and went for regular check ups, ate right and exercised regularly. It was her job to make sure he had a chance against an insidious disease like Cancer. She should have been ordering Spiral CT Scans on him annually. If she did this Cancer would have been found early enough to treat and he'd be alive today. The National Cancer Institute recommends this (so for all you smokers and former smokers talk to you doctor about annual Scans...if your insurance will not pay for it there are tons of places that do them inexpensively!) In Japan they do this test as part of routine check ups and people do not die there of Lung Cancer...they've been doing this for YEARS! Dr. Patton clearly does not keep up with the proper diagnostic tools to catch Cancer early. This makes her a danger to her patients. If she's your doctor, run don't walk away from her hideous brand of medical and emotional negligence! Her incompetence coupled with her insensitivity are abhorrent and all of you deserve better in a doctor.

Dr. Vernace is absolutely amazing. His attention to detail…read moreis far better than many Doctors. He's a kidney specialist at Doylestown hospital. A Nephrologist that I would highly recommend. I've been seeing him for over two years and I'm impressed by his care. He spends a great amount of time explaining kidney issues with his patients. I am a bit concerned with the staff communication. I've been put on two different medications for my Chronic Kidney Disease. Farxiga and Jardiance. In both cases the medicines are very expensive. I required a pre-certification from my insurance (Aetna). Originally I received three weeks of samples of Jardiance after Farxiga did not agree with me. (causing severe pain in my back and groin pain). The staff was extremely stagnant on obtaining the pre-cert. it took me over 2 weeks and numerous calls to the pharmacy, Aetna and the doctors office. Ryan finally took care of this. After final approval for Jardiance it was creating blood in my stool and have been light headed. I've discontinued the use of both these medications. I also tried to make an appointment after the original prescription for Jardiance for a year out as per the doctors instructions. The receptionist informed me "their system doesn't allow them to schedule that far out" I should call back in January of 2026". I found that odd. I believe they may be understaffed, therefore causing some internal issues. I do have concern with one of the staffs performance. I don't know her name. Two weeks trying to get approval and having the paperwork done properly (pre-cert). Thanks to Ryan the process was finally handled quickly. Although I highly recommend the doctor himself there needs to be some updates to their systems and the staff members trainings. If in the hospital and Dr. Vernace is there you are in great hands!
