I emailed, texted and left a voicemail but never received any response and it's now been just about 2 weeks!!! What is wrong with a company wanting your business but never responds back? Even had another person say they never responded and their response was "that's not like us" give us another chance. " WHY????? Here we go again! Call your damn customers back and be a real service provider otherwise, GET out of this business! You are a piece of crap by ignoring your prospective customers!!!!!' Am I pissed? YESI am! I wanted to hire you but you chose to make a circus out of this, why even give me a quote? Why not just say "I'm a flake and won't do your job!" Is this how you treat your customers? A simple text or call explaining why you didn't respond would have been easy and nice but ignoring me just pissed me off! I cannot recommend Bill and crew highly enough. First of all, it's very difficult to find a…read morecontractor in the Oakhurst/Bass Lake area that actually shows up when they say they will, hits their project milestones, and communicates well. Few contractors do one or two of those things well, yet Woodworks checks every box! I hired them for a pretty big decking project. It included doubling the size of the bigger deck, adding a spa to my deck, and replacing another smaller deck. We used redwood but not just any redwood. Since the local redwood was a bit skinny, Bill went to the Northern CA coast to get some amazing wood. He used it to cover the entire large deck. To accommodate the new spa, his crew had to bust up a huge granite rock and level out the ground. Then they poured the concrete foundation. Then coordinated a crane to pick the new spa up on my driveway and somehow get it placed 75ft up a steep grade on the side of a hill, navigating over 100ft tall cedars....it was crazy! Once it was set, he also coordinated with spa company to set the spa up. After it was set up, he built the deck around the spa. Once the bigger deck was done, he replaced the supports and rebuilt the framework of the smaller deck. The results are amazing (look at the pics). Equally as impressive, he came in on budget AND hit his timeframe. Why mess around with other contractors when you can hire Woodworks?

We are still waiting on the cabinets, but if the house is an indicator on what the cabinets will look like then we are thrilled. They did overall an outstanding job throughout. Their crew were outstanding, I can't say enough about how professional they were, and how much they cared about the quality of their work. There lead guy is named Ross and he is outstanding, he had a helper named Lou and he also was fantastic. They also had another guy Raoul toward the end who also was fantastic. Pierce owns the company and he is a little quiet but definitely knows what a good job should look like, he would walk the house in detail, and if something wasn't right he would have them fix it. This is the 4th house I've built, and this was so far my best experience with the paint company and their crew. It is great to see people who really care about their work. I would definitely recommend this team. Regards Marc Kimball

For reference, I had Matt build me a concrete slab for the spa, grading & landscaping of the entire front yard and one side, graveling of the driveway, planter bed and irrigation line and also some artificial turf. The entire project was completed within the timeline too! I would whole heartedly recommend Silverfox gardens for your landscaping needs.
