I'm making a note here that one of the trickiest things about staining concrete is that the colour richness and hue does not really take hold until the seal and/or epoxy is applied. We went through this exercise during the staining process (as I expressed some concern for the lightness of the stain) and Chris explained the process with patience, kindness and consideration. At no point was I pressured, lied to, bullshitted or hustled to make a fast-decision or accept a job I was not happy with. He assured me that the colour would be what we wanted once sealed, and lo... it was. :) Chris knows what he is doing and his rate was competitive too! After almost an entire year spent renovating our home and working with a host of cast and characters from the Fresno area, Chris from Surface Solutions was like a gift from the Gods. A contractor who showed up on time, didn't cancel, answered his phone, stuck to his quote, and produced a gorgeous end-result was a sheer delight to work with. I trust Chris and his work and will be reaching out to him in the future for recommendations for other contractors to hire in the Fresno area who have a work ethic and quality of product as good as he does.

We messaged him totally last minute on the lawn, expecting him to be booked out. He booked us and not only started working immediately, but he had our lawn done in 2 days. He was creative and suggested the river rock due to our tree root becoming an issue for the grass, something we never would've thought on our own. He also educates you about lawn issues you may ask, so he's very knowledgeable about his work (you'd be surprised how many "i don't know"'s you'd get). They worked early in the morning and grinder. There was a problem with the not so good section due to the amount of rain and little bit of snow we had this past spring. Due to the sinking and cracking, because of the wet ground, Thomas returned a couple months later to complete repairs. The asphalt continued to crack and sink in areas after the repairs. Last week, they returned and removed all of the affected asphalt, and let it dry out for a week. Today, they returned and re-paved all of the affective area. They certainly stood by their name and made us satisfied customers. I would certainly refer them in the future.
