Little did I realize how great Darrell's work was until more than 15 years later when it was finally time to repaint! This time, Darrell and his crew worked in the dead of winter to paint the exterior of my house. (The interior still doesn't need any additional work!) Darrell used special paints that were capable of drying even in the low temperatures of December. As before, Darrell's crew started off by pressure washing the exterior. They timed their work so that everything could dry for more than a day before they began scraping, caulking, masking, and priming. Over the course of four days, Darrell and his crew worked quickly and carefully to paint my house perfectly! When they were done, they cleaned everything up and left the place looking brand new again! I would happily call American Painting and Waterproofing for all my painting needs, and I recommend them without reservation!

My experience was that his workers finished the job quickly, without Cal being around hardly at all. When I questioned him about the peeling paint they painted over, he said that was how they did it. When I questioned him about the areas that weren't' chalked, he said the paint would keep the water out. They painted the front of the pillars on the front porch, but not the back side. I feel that they did not do what they contracted to do, and when I texted him with the pictures of areas of concern, he did not get back to me. I really would like to post the pictures of the peeling paint, the areas that were partly chalked, and the pillars not painted. I was able to upload a couple of pictures, but not all of them.
