The place is MASSIVE!! Lots going on everywhere. TONS of plants and there are even random fake plants which was funny to me for some reason! Basically now I know where I can get a replacement plant for whatever plant just died in my apartment! They have a wide and abundant variety of indoor and outdoor plants! They also have a boutique selection of retail merch which was interesting to browse and it also seemed like there was a farmers market and freezer section! It's a great place to go if you need a floral break and need to immerse yourself in colorful petals and greenery! The staff was super friendly and I really loved seeing so many plants that I had really never seen before! The giant cacti were also really cool - something I would save my pennies for! Seems like a great place to pick up a hostess gift too!

I've seen a lot of community members say Nick's garden market isn't how it used to be. I took it upon myself to see if that was really true, and unfortunately it's a total bummer. Nobody there really knows anything about plants not to mention they don't know how to take care of them either. I would never ever purchase a plant from this garden market again. I had purchased back in February 2026 1 Sweet autumn Clematis vine, and 1 coral honeysuckle vine. Come to find out a couple of weeks later after settling them in my garden at home, the honeysuckle was infested with aphids. I actually called weeks later after trying to save the plant myself by cutting it down completely 2 feet from the ground realizing the frustration that the infestation of aphids wasn't my fault. When I called, the woman that picked up the line didn't share her name. I expressed to this woman that I've had the plant for a little bit and was wondering if there's anyway they can look me up in the system (without receipt) so that we can work something out by me bringing it back. She went ahead and straight up told me "we don't have a system" then let me know that she has been a gardener and has had 30+ years of experience and that honeysuckles are always aphid infested, she also said at Nick's they spray their honeysuckle vines every day and still aren't able to get rid of them. My question is why sell aphid infested vines or if you're going to why not put up a sign alerting other people if you want to buy this there's a risk. I let her know that I actually had more than one species of honeysuckle at my house and none of the other ones were aphid infested. She shut up real quick after that and went ahead and said the best that I can do is give you back $30 for it so you can buy something else. Don't buy your plants here I now go to Tagawa Gardens. They are absolutely amazing, AFFORDABLE and have a real knowledge on all different species of plants Think twice

I replaced a large part of my lawn with xeriscaping and was looking for several plants to layout a beautiful pollinator friendly, drought resistant landscape with three seasons of colors. Debra was very knowledgeable and so helpful as she took me around to pick out a perfect selection of plants (three carts worth). They are all planted now and look beautiful! They have a nice selection of different types of trees and the folks there are more than happy to find the best one for your needs. (Did you know that each type of tree needle has a different pro/con like a stronger smell or needles that last longer? Well, I do now.) Beyond the nice tree they also sell wreaths and those cute little reindeer made out of logs. Plus the people that work here are super nice. And, as if you need more reason to buy a tree from here, they will deliver your tree to your house and put it up in your stand, including trimming and branches that need to be taken off, for a mere $35. For me that was quite a deal. The costs run on the pricier side and of course go up as the trees get taller, but since they are a local Colorado company I don't mind paying more to support them. Lyman went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from the perfect tree, to the rightsized stand and the best looking wreath for our front door. This was our 3rd time at Columbine Christmas Trees and it had been several years since we last shopped with them. Whomever is responsible for hiring Lyman and his staff needs to be given an award for hiring the most awesome crew in the tree selling business. The lot looks spectacular this year and better than I remembered it. Such a friendly staff, great prices, a good variety of trees and wonderful customer service. The lot its self is nicely laid out and trees are grouped by size. All the trees looked healthy and green. I do know (by having tried to compost old Christmas trees in my back yard) that some places will spray paint the needles green. I was relieved to see the interior of the building is relatively the same, in terms of airy design and decorative accessories offered. Parking is usually dependable, though spaces can feel tight when the lot is full. Only certain spots in the Gardens offer shade, so I would not recommend visiting in the heat of the day. I do wish they sold water bottles when checking out to help appease the children--and adults lol--who are overly warm and tired. I think it would add a lot to one's shopping experience here during the summer months and provide some endurance for shoppers who stop in. Strongly recommend checking this enjoyable oasis out.
