We been here twice now and it's amazing. Our two kids love them. They usually last 1 hour at other play areas but here they manage to stay for 2+ hours! There's a variety of things for them to explore. The food options are pretty good too. read more

There's a few different sizes slides to play, dress up area, sandbox area, merry go around, kitchen area upstairs, many toy cars and even a water gun shooting machine. We ordered the beef noodles and they had those thick chewy noodles which was very yummy along with generous amounts of meat. The soup base was also very flavourful. The popcorn chicken was also delicious, but it tasted more like oven reheated versus oil fried fresh ones. But the flavour was still good! The kids meal was a pretty good portion as well with marinated Minced pork. Very flavourful and the cucumbers were marinated as well! They did increase their prices after the renovations, but i suppose the pricing is still relatively reasonable and close to other places as well.

It is located in a plaza and the appearance on the outside was very unexpected. Upon entering the space is quite large and there isn't smell (which is a plus as these kinda of places can tend at times..) there only appeared to be an older couple working. It's $7/adult + $9.99 for a child between 12-24 months. There are cubicles to stick your shoes (as they are not allowed inside) and socks are required. We were allowed to push our stroller within the table area (which is to the right side of the play space. There is essentially a large structure that combines a ball pit with various slides. They also have large foam structures within the ball pit for kiddos to play with. The other larger structure has a ground level sensory area (which we didn't explore), dress up area, a car track, and then an upper area where we spent most of our time (photos included) which include various children kitchen/house toys, smaller toddler toys, a grocery area.. everything is mismatched and jumbled together - a lot of the toys missing components, batteries run out, broken, etc.. there are signs that say it is picked up every "20 mins" as in my photos but that was definitely not the case. We visited for an hour and it wasn't once picked up. There is also a merry go round that we manually pushed but I do think it does work electrically - we just didn't ask. I can see it being an okay option for younger kids to come when the weather doesn't permit outside. We wouldn't come out of our way to visit again but appreciated the concept.

It was our first time here, but we have been wanting to come for some time now, just always hesitated because the price was on the higher end. The one thing that disappointed us was the attitude of the lady working there. She was not friendly at all, didn't even smile once during the 3 hours that we were there. There is zero customer service. When it came time to leave instead of giving us a 30 min reminder to usher the kids out, she went in at 6pm and shouted at everyone. I think this is very unnecessary as the kids were having fun. As parents we were already trying to get the kids out of the play area to the best of our ability, but kids don't necessarily respond well to yelling. I liked the venue, but won't be coming back. We came here to have fun, and this kind of customer service has definitely left a very negative impression for us.

My family went here for a birthday party for my niece (14) and her 5 cousins between the ages of 10-14. Many of these kids showed up excited for their first time go-karting. That excitement changed to hurt really fast. After a brief safety explanation given in a briefing room, the kids are told to get their helmets. The helmets are multi colored and despite a chart showing sizing, nothing made sense. When asking a staff member for help, the response was a direct aggressive yell saying "READ THE SIGN!!" This was followed by little to no explanation to the kids in the cars on how the cart operates especially concerning going in reverse if in trouble/or stuck, and instructed not to push a red button that has the words "PUSH" on it. What this led to was kids crashing very hard into walls and getting stuck, followed by the same staff member screaming at the top of his lungs at these children. Carts also were malfunctioning, surging, or not braking correctly. Massive safety issue worthy of anonymous Work Safe BC call which is on deck. Needless to say, despite for paying for two rounds, upset and crying children (plural) elected to leave after one race. To the management, give your head a shake and hire people that aren't insecure and aggressive clowns if you want your business to survive. Enjoy Worksafe. Tell them Chris sent you. #clownshoes

If you have a young kid who is bored doing all the typical sightseeing stuff, this was a good break for him and he easily spent an hour, and possibly an hour and a half, and he still didn't want to leave. It's not any place you need to go out of your way to visit, but if you're in the area and your young kid just needs a break from all the "boring" adult stuff, this is a good place to take them so they can let off some steam. There are also a handful of playground toys, rides, slides and other attractions, complete with foam padding, safety nets and flashing lights, guaranteed to attract their attention! Admission is $28 per child (with one "free" adult allowed to accompany them) with no time restrictions. Posters in the restrooms also advertise special "after-hours" events, such as a Nerf War night for 8+ year olds, which sounds like a blast, even for an old kid-at-heart like me! About the only thing to complain about would be the rather terse and aloof staff running the front desk and managing the expected intake forms and disclaimers - they could be a little more lively and upbeat, if you ask me. That said, they do a good job keeping up the place, performing routine rounds to put toys away, vaccum, wipe things down, and generally get everything squared away in an orderly fashion.

OFFERING For $21 (or $19 with a punch card), you get admission for one adult and child for two hours. This gives you access to: - Activities for toddlers and younger elementary school-aged children; - Motion-based activities (like a climbable treehouse and slides and merry-go-round - which costs $1); - Role play-based activities (like an airplane, firehouse, police station, farm house, gas/service station, fifth-wheel camper, hospital, dentist, restaurant, food market, post office/bank, news station, ice cream stand, school, and animal hospital); - Three party rooms (two on the main floor and one upstairs); - A cafeteria; and, - Three motion-based vehicles for children (they move back and forth in one spot) that costs $1 each: a bus, ice cream truck, and a car. ...because of the $1-based rides, you made find yourself needing to bring a lot of coins (only loonies accepted) and spending more than just $19 :) Like many other children's museums, the role-playing areas are often sponsored and logo'd by local businesses. === 3. SERVICE At the reception, staff are friendly; staff are friendly in helping as needed between the overall cleanings and play-area-resets they do every two hours. We did not come here for a party, and so can't comment on the experience with them hosting parties (though we observed what looked like a Spiderman-based parties with themed balloons and someone in costume). === 4. ENVIRONMENT It's bright and the high ceilings give a feeling of openness; the areas can also be easily traversed by people of all ages and abilities. Wheelchairs and baby strollers fit everywhere (except in the tightest of role-playing areas). We did not check out the restrooms while here. Parking is a bit odd as you may find yourself parking around the building/corner since many spaces in front are reserved for other businesses.

Even though there were lots of machines, I thought the selection was on the small side. I went back to read other Yelp reviews and some of them state that the staff gave them additional coins if they weren't winning anything. Thankfully, we didn't have to go that route, as we did come out with two stuffies. This is really different from one of our local places where it is $1 per play and for $30, we're getting 5+ toys. It was a late afternoon on a weekday and we were the only customers there for most of the visit. The one woman working the counter was nice and helped reposition some prizes. One of the toys we got was a Totoro that was very soft - quality seems good. I think you can have fun here, but I'd recommend walking the floor first to make sure you have the right expectations.
