I didn't understand why it was such a big deal that we go there since my cousin lives near the market in Pangasinan, we could get fresh seafood easily. But even at a young age I was curious about food and I already loved to eat so my mood was quickly lightened by the smell of whatever they were cooking at Matutina's kitchen. They told me that it's 'the restaurant to visit' when you're in Pangasinan and true enough they have pictures of famous people and politicians who've been there mounted on the wall.
