I love jollibee and it's always a treat to eat there especially since we don't have it in Boston. There are so many locations around New York and some of them are pretty new. Took a little road trip for my birthday. The location isn't so nice but we found it. There were basic food on the menu but some food we were looking for weren't there. Also there were not enough comfortable seating and we got kids so we had to sit on the high top chairs since we got no choice. It's nice to see Jollibee at Jamaica, which is pretty close to the train station so it's very convenient if you need to stop for a bite. I was so hungry after I got off the train that I decided to head to this place to grab something. I was indecisive at first looking at the menu and was contemplating between a chicken sandwich or a chicken joy meal, which comes with sides. I was busy scanning the menu to see what sides the meal comes with and couldn't even spot the sides. I don't know if it is me but I was just having a hard time looking for the sides. All I know was that one of the sides was fries and not really sure about the other sides they carry. Anyways I got a chicken sandwich with a regular side, which happened to be fries. Chicken sandwich was really good especially the mayo and sauce that came with it. That's what made the sandwich good. Chicken was tender and easy to chew. Ordered the two piece fried chicken with mashed potatoes and raspberry iced tea. The chicken was beyond crispy and delicious but not enough for the price. My order was ready when I arrived (was also notified by text)- the young gentleman who handed me my bag looked like he didn't want to be there- no hello, ty or anything & didn't even give me any utensils. You can depend that the fried chicken and burger steak are consistently good, and so is the burger. However, the way the sandwiches were packaged was a disaster; it was loose and made a huge mess. This experience was ridiculous because we ordered food for New Year's Eve and they left out 3 pieces of peach mango pies, then asked us to drive there and pick up the pies even though the rest of the order was delivered to us. For those of you who have never tried peach mango pies, this is the single best item you can order at Jollibee, so for it to be left out of the order, it was a big deal. When we asked for a refund, we were told to pick the pies up, and when we asked for a refund, they weren't sure if the refund could be processed. I'll be sticking to the Woodside location. read more

Outside the place might not look like an ideal spot for any quick service restaurant let alone Jollibee but the interior of the place does look good. Food prices have gone up since I've last been inside a Jollibee but the food was made so well I can let it slide. My first experience with Jollibee was in the Philippines. Then they opened one in Woodside NY, now I'm finding out they're pretty much almost all over and one was closer to me. I definitely had to try. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go to the store to experience the service and the atmosphere, but I downloaded the app and ordered from there. It literally took them 20-25 minutes and my food was hot, fresh, tasty and did NOT disappoint. I ordered the 3 piece original and what I love is they give you 2 legs, (my fav parts of the chicken). The fries, adobo and adobo rice with that gravy and Pineapple quencher brought back memories. The best part is nothing was missing from the order. As of now, I have not touched my Mango peach apple pies because they need their own moment. The best pies besides them are Popeyes (solely my option).
