Your management has to reconsider a time sensitive, efficient service to your customers. Yesterday was a disaster, for an order of one spaghetti and drinks to take 45 min! And the worst is you don't know when your order will be called. Orders were called by name, instead of order number. You have about 50 people awaiting for orders, and you don't know where you're at!?! You're totally lost in this system and you have no idea when you will be called. And the person who call the names has a very tiny voice, unheard, unclear, and customers having the same names come to get their supposed orders just to be disappointed. What an inefficient system, how are you gonna enjoy your meal waiting at the counter for your name, or someone else's name? This personalized system may work on non- busy days. So come on, you have to learn from the crowd yesterday! The two workers packing and handling the orders were really slow, unconcerned of an awaiting packed crowd of families with small children, people going going to work... just this is so unprofessional of Jolibee management. If you have a camera at the premises, you honestly have to review how you serve your customers. It's a disappointing 3rd world service. I really enjoyed Jollibee's as a first-timer. My friends took me here to try the fried chicken and it was amazing!! I ordered the 2-piece chicken with Filipino spaghetti and pineapple juice. For starters, I love pineapple juice so already I was hyped up for this place. The side of Filipino spaghetti was warm, sweet and topped with sprinkles of cheese & bits of sausage. I don't know how legit this was but I thought it complemented everything well. I also ordered the buko pandan bubble tea--it was a little sweet but I love pandan, so it was a nice trip down memory lane. The chicken on the other hand was so delicious! The skin was so flavorfully salted and the meat was so juicy--I'm so sad that I didn't discover this sooner. What brought down my review by a star is the really long wait. This is considered a fast food place so it was quite surprising when the line would move so slowly that it trailed and crowded the restaurant. I have never been so frustrated visiting ANY restaurant/fast food joint as much as today. The employees at Jollibee told my girlfriend & I it would be a 20 minute wait at most. Keep in mind most of their customers are Filipino or from other Asian American decent. We are mixed with multiple nationalities, and it's obvious. We ended up waiting over an hour before being served our food, and had about 7 other customers receive their food before we did. Even after complaining, they still continued to serve people who ordered much later after us. There were people in & out within 5 minutes. Why were we waiting an hour? DONT go here you will waste a ton of time & if they don't like you're appearance, will not serve you well. Not making the world a better place by any means. read more

I came here yesterday, I was doing my groceries. So I ask the lady in charge if the chicken was halal or not. Due my religious affiliations.I have to make sure I am not eating halal chicken. I ask the first lady incharge she said its not. Happy to hear that. Now the second manager in the later afternoon was rude that was around 4pm, she was naggy, I came back to ask about where the supplier came from just to make sure its not Halal. I ask if it ok to check the distribution box. Coz other locations of Jollibee like LA and Newyork are Halal chicken. So, I spoke to that manager. OMG she was screaming to the employee like crazy nagging about it. So I said how would I know if I can purchase your chicken or not if you dont answer me. She refers me to the corporate instead. I was there waiting for the answer all I can hear is her screaming and nagging instead of answering the inquiries professionally. First time at Jollibee and after all the raving from my Filipino friends, I think its a 4 star place. Staff was very friendly and the menu is very interesting. I would say it's a Filipino Popeyes sort of speak. I was bummed out the sour cream and onion fries were out but the cheddar fries were delicious. Chicken was extra crunchy! (That's a good thing). Came here on a weekday afternoon to grab a quick, late lunch and check out the new supermarket and bake shop next doors. We ordered the 5.99 meal that was advertised on the store window. It's spaghetti and a piece of fried chicken to go with. Drinks not included. Spaghetti with hotdog tasted ok, reminded us of canned Spaghetti Os. Chicken was hot and crispy with a generous serving of gravy. Service was very good. The staff was very friendly. It didn't take long to get our order ready. The place is also kept tidy and clean. Hopefully, we'll be in the area again to try other items on the menu. read more

Jollibee what a disappointment. This place is visited only for nostalgic purposes and definitely not for the convenience of a fast food restaurant. I have visited around opening time, middle of the day and around 8 PM (closing time 10PM) all with the same theme of this establishment not being able to plan, expedite and execute the mission of a fast food joint. If I wait in line for 30 minutes and upon ordering being told that the food will take 20 minutes. I should have just used those 50 minutes to make my own spaghetti and fried chicken. Management pushes trays of chicken, but should have a person other than the cashier to announce what the expected time will be. Honestly, a chicken joint that sells at least a piece of chicken with every entree should know how to plan. The spaghetti and the sauce is pre-made, that does not require a 20 minute wait. It's a chicken and spaghetti place with a commercial kitchen. The establishment needs better planning and communication within their management, team members and possible GM involvement. Service is super slow!!! I waited 40 mins for a bucket of chicken joy and 3 orders of adobo rice (my original order is 5!) they ran out of adobo rice then forgot to prepare a new batch!! Could not understand the bad reviews here. The lines were long (which yes, can be improved), but it's living off on a crazy busy Filipino grocery store, so for sure the patrons would be a lot during peak periods. A word of advise for the uninitiated: sometimes the lines look long because everyone in a party stays in line (when one is enough), it's a Filipino habit for some reason. However, there are folks who order for a huge amount of party trays (nostalgia-induced panic buying). Have that mindset and you'll be fine. Lately, the lines have been a lot less too, so I suggest that people give it another try. Food tips: Chickenjoy(s) and rice. Ask double spicy if they let you. Also, gravy is gold. read more

The meaty flavor that you get is from the mixture of ground pork and ground beef with simple and easy to get veggies, garlic, onions and sweet relish for natural sweetness. Filipinoes cooks this dish for birthdays and celebration holidays like christmas and new years. Eating together with family and friends traditionally in Italy pasta is cooked "al dente" meaning its soft but still firm on the inside... I just brought back food from Jollibee. The chicken was nothing special in fact it was way too salty for my taste but the spaghetti & mango pie was excellent! I would go back just for these two items in a heartbeat. The young lady who took my order was pleasant & polite. The last time I visited a Jollibee was in the Philippines. It was ok. I wasn't impressed. But seeing the long lines at this location got me curious. Fortunately, I visited on a weekday mid morning so the line was rather minimal. Upon perusing the menu, I noticed the prices were rather steep for modest portions. $10 for 6 pieces of chicken, really? Only legs and thighs. The quality of the fried chicken was good. Crispy and juicy. Above average at best. I did enjoy the peach mango pie. Reminds me of McDs old version of their apple pies they use to deep fry but with a peach mango twist. Tasty. The halo halo was good. Homemade is better but this wasn't bad for fast food halo halo. It doesn't help either that we're in Chicago/Cook County so taxes just make the cost of dining here ridiculous for what is just not so fast food. My experience here is just ok. The food is delicious -- tons of Filipinos come here for a reason! You can get Jollibee's famous spaghetti, fried chicken, palabok, and a few other items like burgers and sides. My personal favorite is the halo-halo for dessert. This location is inside the Seafood City supermarket, so naturally the building and parking lot can get pretty crowded. The Jollibee space is very small, so it's difficult to find a seat during peak hours. My biggest complaint is the waiting time. It can take over 30 minutes for you to receive your order... at that point it really isn't a "fast food" restaurant at all. If they serve the food faster, then it would be a much better experience for all. read more

I have visited this location of Jollibee twice the past month, the customer service of the cashiers there aren't very good, disappointing I should say. The first time was okay, I let it slide, maybe the cashier isn't having a good day that day but then the second time I went there, Nov. 29th, 2019 around 8:00pm, the cashier named Rochelle took my order and it was wrong and was giving me an attitude like she don't want to talk to me anymore. I ordered a "meal" and didn't put a fries in my order which was okay, I was like "fine, I'll just ask her" then when I came up to her and she said my order didn't have a fries in it because she said "it depends on how I ordered it" which was a straight up bs. I got annoyed a little because I would have to order again and wait for my order. Then while I was taking my order I asked her if I could order a "take out" the same time I'm ordering my "dine in", she said yes which was cool but when I got my order for the dine in, they put everything all together. So I went back again to get a plastic bag for my "to go" order. She was at the counter barely visible and was on her phone then I asked for a plastic bag, she gave it to me and gave me a fake smile. Totally ruined my day. If you are all having a bad day and can't be positive at least for work with customer service please do not go to work, don't pass your negativity to others. You are not the only one who's having problems in life, us too but we know how to manage it. And if you are having problems in your house please do not bring it at work. This is a special treat in the world of fast food. For the novices, this is for Filipino tastes, so Americans may or may not get into it. The fried chicken is plump, juicy, and fried to perfection. To really experience it fully, pour some gravy on your plate and dip the meat in it. The spaghetti is not your typical Italian spaghetti. It is sweet and made with banana sauce, cheese, and hot dogs. My first time trying it was in the Philippines, and it was a strange taste. However, I have come to enjoy the unique flavor. For dessert, you must try the peach mango pie. It is one of the more unique pie flavors out there. I've had thoughts of taking a few pieces home, chopping it into a cobbler and putting ice cream over it. Unfortunately, the pies rarely make it home. Discipline is needed for this. This is a major step for the Filipino brand into the city proper. Jollibee is extremely disappointing. On a trip to chicago my friend couldn't stop talking about how heavenly and delicious jollibee is. This unfortunately was not the case. First off the line was so long it went out of the door. Second the atmosphere is so competitive because people are literally pushing for seats. And unfortunately the staff didnt acknowledged me and my white friend but they did acknowledge my philipino friend. Third the chicken was okay but it doesnt compare to many other fried chicken restaurants. The pineapple juice was very delicious and was an awesome drink. The mash potatoes were awful.i also didnt like The chicken sandwich which they forgot to make and we had to remind them 3 times. By the time we got the sandwhich we had finished everything else and they also forgot the fries. The sandwhich was 2 peices of bread, chicken and some ranch. I'm definitely not from the lovely Republic of the Philippines so I have no nostalgia for this chain. I have visited Manila and I didn't try Jollibee there when I had the chance. I was thrilled when Jollibee opened up in Chicago because I had the chance to make up for a missed opportunity. The big Jollibee character outside the restaurant was adorable, but everything after that verged on painful. There was a long line to put in our order and then a long wait to actually get our food. Seating was not adequate to match demand so be prepared to eat standing up. The chicken tenders were excellent as was the smooth brown gravy. The mango pie was delicious as was the pineapple juice. The Filipino spaghetti was atrocious. The smell as you lift the fork up to your mouth warns you not to eat it but what a waste of money it would be to NOT eat. The sauce is a putrid layering of the lowest quality processed meats in a super sweet "tomato sauce" with an undertone of bagoong or patis, or something that caused a gag reflex. The grated cheese on top doesn't seem to melt. I could not have eaten a second bite without hurling. My 3yr old daughter covered her mouth and repeatedly said, "that's disgusting". The halo halo ratio was off, it had too much ice. I think the size of the cup, which was wide and generous, threw off the ratio. The ingredients in the halo halo were good. I'm sure, based on the constant line and people picking up massive bags of party trays of palabok that the experience I had, with my Americanized palate is not going to hurt this booming restaurant one bit. After having a bad experience the first time I came here. I gave it a benefit of a doubt because maybe they just opened and they are finding ways to make it better. OMG! I think it has gotten worst. It was dinner rush, line maybe 10 people 1 cash register. The rest talking and standing around, laughing which is honestly good. But no sense of urgency when it comes to customers. My stars are not based on the food it is based on the service. We have been coming to this location since it opened. The line waiting to order does not take to long (maybe 15 minutes). The problem is you could still wait 15 to 45 minutes for your food. We don't order that much. Just a few chicken meals and a burger meal. I really don't understand why it takes so long. I see the chicken sitting under the heat lamps. Yesterday was the worst. A worker took our food and put it on the counter as completed. He then just walked away and didn't put our number in to trigger our buzzer. Of the 5 other employees helping not one looked at the order. They just walked by pretending to be busy. Then I walked up to a teenager who looked like he just woke up from his nap. I asked him if i could get my food since it has been sitting here for 10 minutes. He shook his head in confusion and asked if this was my food. I said I just told you it was. Then he pushed the order towards me. Then he walked to the back because I think it was to much stress on him for the day. So he had to take a break. I know nothing is going to change at this place.
