I love coming to this location because it is extremely fast. It only takes 10-15 minutes to receive your order. The Chicago downtown location can take up to an hour or hour and half to receive order. The chicken the crispy and fresh. There is plenty of seating inside the restaurant as well. Not sure what's going on with their weekend staff, but I had issues with picking up orders on two separate weekends. The first time was a large pickup order on 2/14/2026 @ 3pm. I showed up around 2:50PM and checked-in. They told me my order wasn't ready yet and the worker grabbed a ticket from the machine and told me "It actually just printed". At 3:06pm I received a text notification that the order was ready so I asked a staff member to check on the status and he said it wasn't ready. At this point I noticed what looked to be items of an order had collected and were sitting on a table behind the counter in the corner that hadn't been bagged yet. I waited more. Finally the manager asked me what name/order number I was waiting on. By this time it was around 3:13PM. She turned around and saw the items on the table and checked and saw it was the order I was waiting for. Multiple staff told me my order wasn't ready. They did lower than the bare minimum to check on my order status. Syed (beard net), being one of those who told me it wasn't ready, finally packed up my order. I was in my car with my order at 3:20PM. It's a bit longer of a wait for a 3PM pickup than I would have liked. The second time was on March 28, 2026. My wife and I were in Seafood City shopping and she placed an order on the app for pickup at 4PM so we could pickup right away after shopping and leave. Similar situation. We got to Jollibee a little before 4PM for pickup. My wife went in while I waited outside with our shopping cart and peaked in through the window every so often and would see her standing by the counter waiting. I was standing out there for about 45 minutes. My wife came out furious. She told me she checked in with the staff member. Staff member glanced around back and forth and told her it's not ready yet. Staff member took an order at the register and then disappeared into the back and never came back out. Our order was on the same table behind a counter in a bag (we didn't know it was ours at the time). My wife received a text notification that our order was ready. She told another staff member (who happened to be Syed, too, [beard net]) she got the notification. He said it wasn't ready yet and told her once it's ready they'll let her know. Ok... After more (at this point, close to 45 minutes) waiting the manager noticed my wife glaring at everyone and asked her what the name/order number was. Manager turned around and saw our bag on the table behind her. I'm only writing this review now, because I have the time, and my wife told me she picked up an order at the Bloomingdale location on Army Trail Rd; pick up for 1PM. They had the order prepped and ready by the time she got there. They handed it to her when she checked in and she was out in less than two minutes. I would suggest that the SFC Jollibee staff figure out how to check on orders, pack the orders, and hand over the orders in a more timely manner. Just glancing around is unacceptable. Telling ppl their order(s) aren't ready and not checking thoroughly after the customer has received a text notification that their order is ready is unacceptable. Maybe ask yourself why the customer received a notification telling them their order is ready. And if it's really not ready, who the hell is pushing the button to tell them it's ready? If it can be helped, I'm never going back to the SFC Jollibee. There are better spots in SFC and around. If I'm sent there to pickup again, I'm going to tell you how to do your job as I wait. We ordered our food, was informed that it would take about 20 minutes and was handed a pager to let us know when the order was ready. At this point it had been about 45 minutes since we ordered. Without hesitation the woman next to him refunded me (and told me it could take a week to go through). I visited this Jollibee regularly and it's the best spicy fried chicken I've ever had. The Adobo rice is delicious as is the Palabok. They are always busy but somehow they are always really nice and they get the food out in a reasonable amount of time. Gravey is delicious and goes great with everything. Do get the pies. You won't regret it. The palabok, spaghetti, and Adobe rice were just OK. I just didn't enjoy much of the flavor profile of any of them, but good and worth trying for the first time. Pineapple quencher was OK, reminds me of dole from a can on ice. Staff and service were very cool... and the place was very clean. Ambiance is your typical fast food joint, bright and lively. Here's the thing, my food was GOOD. I've never had Jollibee before, so I was going into this blindly. However, I waited a good 10 min on the line and over 25 minutes for my food to come out. It wasn't until I hit the 20 minute wait mark that I went to inquire about my order, and from there, my food was ready minutes later (I believe, due to my inquiry). It seems like the order staff is very disorganized. There were large family meals being prioritized over individual meals. Never ever ever should a fast-food restaurant take 20 minutes to get their food out to their patrons. That being said, I didn't love the chicken sandwich (just a lil ol chicken patty with mayo slapped on a potato bun?) and $0.80 for a dipping sauce.... what???? I didn't hate the spaghetti side (though as a traditionally Italian person, I wasn't expecting much. It was oddly sweet). But, the item that is saving this whole review was the PEACH MANGO PIES. It's close to I-94, between the Northshore and Northside of Chicago and located in the same building with Seafood (pronounced Seepood) City, Valerio's bakery and Red Ribbon. What more can one ask for?? I've been to the Skokie location (Touhy Ave.) the most and the Michigan Avenue location when I'm downtown for work, and I have to say that I like coming here when I want to spend little more time shopping for Filipino stuff. My first time at a Jollibee. I initially asked for the burger steak, which I believe is just some bunless burgers with mushroom gravy on top, but they said they were out. Well, it's the end of the day, things happen. I got the chicken strips and fries, instead. As fast food goes, it was pretty good. Nothing too exciting, but good enough. The fries are the same general shape and length as McDonald's fries, but less greasy. The chicken strips are very thin, and the breading is light and crispy. If I recall correctly, it's similar in texture to Popeye's breading, but Jollibee's tastes better. The real star was the pineapple BBQ sauce. I won't comment on the service, as the staff was clearly at the end of a weekend shift and worn out. The tables were a little dirty from the people before us, and the place is pretty loud with tall ceilings that echo the sound. The food is the saving grace for this location. Adobo rice: Insanely good with a sweet/savory flavor Mash potatoes: On par with KFC, but the gravy is better. PRO TIP: get an extra side of gravy and use it for the mash and Adobe rice Side of spaghetti: More unique than Italian/American spaghetti with a sweeter flavor. There's also sliced hot dogs which is a signature of Filipino spaghetti. Might seem unusual to a more American palate, but it grows on you and has quickly becomes something that I think about on a regular basis. 2pc deal: Comes with a thigh + leg, one side, a drink, and a mango-peach pie. The chicken is unbelievably tender and juicy! The skin is nice and crispy with a perfect balance of saltiness. A true masterpiece. It's been a while since we had jollibee. We're all excited and my kids don't have school today so we all decided to get chicken joy. We ordered 12 pcs chicken, 1 family pack palabok, 1 chicken burger meal (fries, drink and pie included) I specifically said 2 spicy and the rest original flavor of chicken. It's on the receipt. When we get home, the chicken is all spicy! I called Jollibee, the one who answered the call doesn't have sympathy. She wants me to go back to get the right order. I didn't hear her say "we do apologize for this..." she didn't even ask if we live far away or whatnot. Bad customer service. Always coming back here this is a staple in Filipino culture! I got the 2 piece chicken joy with one side and one drink. The fried chicken is so juicy and crunchy. No sauce is needed for it. But if you want even more flavor, the best part is to dip the chicken into the gravy which gives it an even richer flavor. Rice comes with the meal because you can't have a Filipino meal without rice! The drink I got was pineapple juice and it was very sweet and in season. Clearly there's been a lot of water under the bridge since then, so I've been wondering: would it be as good as I remembered? I took two friends (one Filipino) to this location to find out.
