I'm extremely disappointed with my experience with Ready Set Fun…read more I booked and paid a $381.50 deposit for my daughter's birthday party scheduled for January 25. Unfortunately, our area was hit by a winter storm, and a state of emergency was declared both that weekend and the following weekend. Travel conditions were unsafe, especially for children and families attending the party. I notified the business as soon as possible, but they refused to refund the deposit and only offered rescheduling, for an additional $250. At that point, my daughter's birthday had already passed, so there was no reason to reschedule a birthday party weeks later. I understand businesses have policies, but emergencies and state-declared weather events are beyond a customer's control. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve this directly, but no resolution was offered. I'm sharing this so other families are aware before booking, especially during winter months when weather can impact plans. The owner commented below- families let's use common sense as to why the party was canceled just four hours prior, the snow began coming down heavily, and I couldn't in good conscience ask my family members to travel on dangerous roads. The owner also failed to mention I was emailing Meg, since 6am that morning. Their behavior shows more compassion for money than families.

They also offer a lot in house extras like balloon decor, cupcakes and face painters, etc. Their packages do include decor (bare minimum) but I purchased all my own, the only items purchased from them was the food and the ballon decorations. The food was really good and I found out they order from the Hudson Grille that is in the same plaza. My one complaint would be the event coordinator Meg! It was even more baffling when I found out that Meg is also an owner, which is disappointing that her customer service skills are below subpar. There was a miscommunication with the decor set up, which wasn't the problem it was how she handled the situation. She was very rude and disrespectful so much so that the other ladies on the staff had to keep apologizing for her rudeness. I will also say I had to call and leave several voicemails and send an email before she called me back leading up to the party which I wasn't a fan of. The day of the party the other staff members were so helpful and accommodating with bringing my vision to life I really appreciated them. I probably won't be back because bad customer service has a lasting effect but it it a really nice facility and all the kids enjoyed themselves.

Initial booking experience: Easy enough- you use the website then someone calls you and explains the packages, sends over a contract, pay the deposit etc. Two weeks later I hadn't gotten an email about paying the rest of the party fee like we discussed. I called and emailed and no on responded- the website had been deleted so I sent them a dm. No response but I ended up figuring out how to pay it in full instead of the installments we agreed on. Slightly annoying but it was done. One week before the party I received and automated email from the booking website stating that I would be refunded the second payment I made- shock sets in. I called the number and left countless messages, emailed, insta dm'd- zero communication. At this point I figured o needed to be planning another party. Three days later I'm still calling and someone finally answers. Very nonchalantly says the party was still going to happen and they were having some issues with booking. Relieved but disturbed about communication and service but mentioned someone should have called me as soon as they found out. Party Day- I arrive at 10:55 party start time is 11am. Knocking on the door (panicked again) a teenager comes To tell me we can't enter until 11. Okay. 11am she rolls out a red carpet and goes in. No communication to us. Guests have arrived. Sticks her head out and says, "Y'all can come in" Party- They began putting very wrinkled robes on the kids. The room as silent other than the kids talking to each other. They went back chose their colors for their nails and toes and split the girls in three sections-makeup, nails, and toes. Only two kids were working. This felt very awkward. The parents were told to stay up front but of course I kept going back to check in. My daughter the birthday girl was crying at one point- the older girl said she was poked in the eye and my daughter had makeup in her eye. I asked if they had wipes or a napkin she told me to go get toilet paper out of the bathroom. (Upsetting but still stayed calm.) still only the two kids working. Most of the music playing was very randomly in Spanish. The owner comes out and brings a number 7 sign and heads back to her office. I say hey are you the owner I spoke with, she says yes and sends me an additional invoice for the two extra kids. Again the website seems to be having issues because it isn't processing my card payment. She told me it needed to be paid before she de my daughters nails. Luckily I had cash on hand. All kids finish several kids upset because nail polish looks like it was done by a kid- because it was. Happy Birthday- Cupcakes came out before food. Weird- but I'm sure the kids liked it. Time for pizza. The kids get one very small slice. That's it. That's the party. Very basic. Very expensive. Very underwhelming.

First, the venue has a gorgeous, romantic feel to it. The outdoor ceremony space was beautiful and simple. The cocktail hour outside was cozy yet wasn't cramped for the amount of people (sometimes cocktail hours can feel like you're waiting in line at the bar the whole time). And may I say the service was fantastic all the way through - staff were all friendly, attentive and professional throughout. The bartenders were personable to us Everytime we went up to the bar, but efficient to where they didn't have a long line built up. The buffet line went quickly as well. There were only two restrooms from what I could locate on the first floor, I did notice a line a time or two in the beginning of the evening. Definitely had a wonderful experience here!
