I am not too far away from the Dunwoody location, which is near Perimeter mall in a town center…read moretype area. I haven't had an issue with parking, but I hear that it can be tough. There was one time that I did have to circle, but it was just once. I love this location most because they have ICE. Ice is critical. I think all hot yoga spots should have an ice maker. I realize there are zoning and licensing requirements, and I'm so thankful they had the space here for an ice machine. They also have showers and lockers and it's really fantastic. The yoga is hard-- it is not only hot, but hard. You are going to get in great shape in no time. The first row are usually the super advanced folks that like to do fancy headstands and take advantage of the heat and all the warm-ups. Even the most "easy" instructors make you work. If you want a good work out in 60 minutes, you will get one here, and you will definitely increase your practice. Yonder Yoga advanced my yoga practice more in a month than other studios in 4 months. It's usually pretty fast paced and the teachers are really good-- they add extra resistance to your postures when necessary, which I think helped me get to my heels down dog. I have loose hips, but my hamstrings are tight, and I've almost got to the splits because of the practice here. They are AMAZING. They have ICE! It's the best ever. Hydrate and get here.

I loved all 3 classes that I've taken this week. Amenities were great! Clean, professional and the instructors adjusted your postures! I would go back again and again. Also liked there were no clocks in the studio.

Sunny Street was recommended to me by a yoga instructor who advised that Sunny Steet has…read moreinstructors (Lilian and Blake) that incorporate Ashtanga into their classes, and I had to check it out. They have a nice variety of classes and instructors, cap each class at 10 people total, and is non-heated (which I personally prefer). The first time it's hard to find, as it's nestled back behind the complex of businesses, but parking is easy and it's super accessible. It's no-frills, no gimmicks, just real yoga, in a cheery, bright, and cozy location with kind staff.

Sunny Street Yoga is the studio I have been looking for! There are so many things I like about this…read morestudio - I'll address them in the order of things that appeal to me most. First, Sunny Street limits class sizes to 10. I LOVE that classes never feel crowded, and I never have to rush to get there too early for a spot. Additionally, I never have to worry about the potential awkwardness of touching strangers accidentally in class. (Okay, there are certainly worse things, but this is so awkward, right?!) Next, this is truly a studio that offers many styles of practice. If you are looking for strength and stamina, you can find it. If you are looking for restoration and meditation, you can find it. If you are looking for a flow that combines the two, yep - you can find it. Like an earlier reviewer, I am LOVING the Ashtanga classes. Additionally, all levels of practice are welcomed. Props are readily available, and modifications and enhancements are offered for many asanas. In my experience, classes typically have participants that reflect a range of experience levels. All are welcomed and encouraged. I have never seen anyone pushed beyond their comfort level. All instructors I've practiced with (I have been to classes offered by five different instructors) have been incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, and encouraging. I regularly sign up for classes with all of them as my schedule allows. Sunny Street has a handy app for class registration. All classes require registration in advance, and the app makes it so easy to check out the schedule and register for classes. It is super user-friendly. You can also monitor the number of participants who have registered for upcoming classes. Sunny Street also offers other wellness classes and special events, such as book clubs, circles, and general wellness events. They also sponsor events in the community, such as Friday morning yoga at the Forum. There appear to be a number of opportunities to connect with other people who practice at the studio if you are interested in doing so. Finally, it is easy to get in and out of - open parking lot and close to a number of neighborhoods. Classes are affordable and membership is a great value! I highly recommend a visit. Did I mention that they have great offers for visiting guests? Check them out on social media or their website for more details. See you at the studio!

After Bikram Marietta closed in November, I, unfortunately, tried Just Yoga. Although I did not like the dictatorial style of teaching by Julie, the owner, I did like other instructors and decided to give it one more month for January. I paid $80 for January and after a few more classes, decided the very rigid teaching style of the owner was too much. The payment was for one month and not as an automatic monthly charge. I never use debit for reoccurring charges because there is no recourse. Credit cards do allow disputes on unauthorized charges. Julie continued to charge my debit card for the next six months. I rarely review debit transactions. only credit card charges, and did not see the reoccurring charges until June. I called Julie to get the charges credited back. She refused and would not accept that I had only agreed to the January charge, not a reoccurring monthly charge. This would have NEVER occurred at Bikram Marietta and I regret more than before that Nadra had to close the studio. If you use Just Yoga, pay in CASH. Do Not use a debit card and I advise against keeping a credit card on file.

Real hot yoga with nothing extraneous. Julie Benham is an expert in the 26-2 and is focused on helping others heal themselves and grow stronger in the process. She studies the science of yoga, and is a constant learning type - so her knowledge is not stale or copypasta. You'll learn something new every day, if you listen. I've practiced the 26 postures of hot yoga under many guises and in studios all over Atlanta and the country. This is the first space I've found where the energy in the studio is completely neutral, the space is visually quiet and the teacher is tuned into what is going on in her students' bodies. Her voice gets in your mind and helps you turn all your thoughts directly to your breath and movement. I'm inspired by Julie's teaching style and I look forward to practicing here as often as I can. Oh yeah, one more thing: she doesn't stick to the dialogue, but for the first time in my practice, I can say this is a good thing. You'll see.

Since the place is 24hrs thats important to me. They have a security guard that patrols and a life alert-like system that you can activate if you feel like you need emergency assistance. I found out that they have aqua rowers and I couldn't wait to try them since I love rowing. The dual handles really provide more range of motion options for working out your arms. I loved it. It's very clean & organized It seems very secure. It is open 24 hours, only staffed 11-8. You get either a code or you can use your app to unlock the door. Everything seems very straightforward when it comes to using the rooms and machines. Cons- It's small. I'm 5 11 and I can't do a lot of the yoga stuff due to a lack of space. The walls are low & close, which is a little odd because in all of the informational videos they have way more than enough space. I definitely would not have three people in one room two is more than enough. When signing up it is a minimum 3 month plan. Also I did find it a little weird I went back & fourth with Hattie on the enrollment price. When I walked in the sign said $20 enrollment && I had spoken to someone on Saturday & asked her if the $20 enrollment included the mat & towel she told me yes. When it was time to sign up she said the $20 was over bc that was last month. I wasn't feeling to well so I was kind of out of it but I reminded her the sign outside literally says $20 enrollment. She said she would change it & did!! I also told her my cousin referred me, she told me they they don't do anything with referrals, as soon as I signed up and got the app they definitely do do something for referrals lol Also, as soon as I got home, I saw that the enrollment for the month is now 4$. So it was a little weird that she kept pushing the $99 enrollment when I was aware of the $20 and for the month of July they're doing a 4$ enrollment. So just be aware of any specials before you go in.

Terri and Carla are always at the front to greet people as they enter the studio. They are both so friendly and welcoming! After just one visit I was greeted by name every time after that! They have about 10 different teachers although I have not had a chance to take classes with all of them. But two of my favorites are Betsy and BeAnne. They have two completely different styles of teaching but both are fun and challenging! The studio is very clean and has natural light from the many windows. The best part is that they have mats, blankets, bolsters, blocks, everything you need for class all to use free of charge! My only complaint is that they don't have a place to refill water bottles. Yes, they have the bathroom sink and they sell dasani water but I would really like a water fountain or any filtered water area outside of the bathroom. In the large scheme of things this isn't a make it or break it thing buuuuut I figured I would mention it :) Overall this is a great studio and I've already bought a class package as I will be a frequent customer!

I've taken class with men & women in their 60's to high school boys who were taking Hatha as an addition to the training regimen. Plus, if you are in the Roswell/Alpharetta area the location is great - downtown Roswell with plenty of parking.
