Today I went in to ask for some duplicate receipts that I need for doing taxes. Ana has helped with this and other tasks in the past so I asked her if she could help me. Within a few seconds, she had the copies that I needed. I appreciated the help, but, even more than that, I appreciated the willingness to help that Ana displayed. Whereas some business employees either complain or show a bad attitude when asked for extra help, Ana was polite and efficient and seemed willing to go the extra mile. I definitely appreciated her, and I'm so glad to have this Ace Hardware store nearby.

I dislike having keys made that don't work, and even though they're usually remade for free, it's a hassle to drive back to the store. Well, that never happens at this Branson Ace Hardware. The keys work EVERY TIME. But, of course, there are many more reasons I shop at Ace Hardware. I love Magnolia paint that they stock. Lowe's used to carry it, but don't anymore. And they are one of the few places in the area to carry the half gallon size of Ball jars.

I was approached by a man named "Greg". He Immediately advised me that he was "Deaf". They set up another contractor he arrived the next day an hour late and said he didn't have time to do the job.....he said he would reach out to us in a week and he totally ghosted us for weeks! I've gone through four or five drills in my home owning career, so when it's time for the next one I know where to go. I thought that the prices were a bit lower than Home Depot and Lowe's though the selection clearly is a bit smaller here. If you already know what you want, it's worth checking here to see if they have it before paying full price in one of the big box shops.
