I didn't know what was in style and was having trouble with sizing. She handled it all, while serving other customers as well. The only thing I would suggest is that her staff was more like her. I felt like she was doing all of the work while others stood around waiting for Vicki to tell them what to do. It was unfortunate to see, but Vicky is a rockstar. She gave me misinformation and told me that I need to contact DoorDash to make arrangements for my order to be picked up. This really was not true. I paid for delivery and I was told by customer care Isaiah (who was a big help which is why 1 star is even being given) that DoorDash would be assigned to me by the company long story short my order got delayed because the store didn't understand their own practices regarding same day delivery and on top of it Juliana was very rude and unprofessional towards me even hanging up the phone because she got mad that I kept asking about the shoes and delivery service that I paid for. This has been the worst experience with buying on-line that I ever had. Please, save yourself the time, effort and confusion. Do not waste your time placing and on-line order here. Juliana should be fired for misrepresenting herself over the telephone and speaking to customers in a rude and unprofessional manner. I also am limited in the styles of shoes I can wear. BL has a fantastic selection of supportive and comfortable yet stylish shoes (TEVA, Hoka, New Balance, Dansko, etc.). Everyone who works here has always been patient, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable. If the same style is available in men's and women's, Jay taught me the trick of buying the right shoe in a women's size and the left shoe in a men's size since most stores don't carry women's size 11 and the men's size accommodates the brace betters. And even if BL doesn't have what I need in stock at the store, they are always willing to scout the inventory of their other locations to have what I need shipped to me or their store. Yes, I live in Manayunk so it gets a home town bump! Philadelphia Runner (PR) in general has everything you need to get into or continue running. People often ask me what type of shoes I run in. I reply, why not go for a fitting at PR and explore your options. After all, what works for me might not for you. The PR team will walk new runners through their options and key considerations while providing whatever support a seasoned runner will need. I love it! I get my "supplies" here as well - gels for long runs and the occasional new shorts or shirts to look as good as I feel. They also host our Thursday night runs - all faces all paces welcome, 6:30PM every Thursday. Net - a few years since my last review, but still top quality from PR Manayunk!

I would never have done that without help, trying on styles that I wouldn't have considered (because I tend to stick with what I know). I go back every other year and only when I don't have kids with me. I had gone to the one in Delaware (tax free shopping), but I didn't find the personal service that I got at the Paoli store. Not bad, just impersonal.
