Windy Pass told me they'd repair it for $65, which was about a third the price of the pack. I took it to Warrick, who cheerfully sewed it for a fraction of the price. No shipping either. The Sperry Resole Package was $90, and the cost of a new pair of the Gold Cup model on the Sperry website, as of August 2026, is close to $200, so I think $90 per pair is a really good value. I highly recommend Fred's for your shoe repair needs.

OK, but not thrilled since it looks bad. I do't wear these boots too often since I have several pairs. i just noticed they also scraped the leather with the stitcher on the same boot. The leather is actually a little thinner now in this spot. The scrape runs parallel to the welt in an area where normal wear would not cause the scrape. In addition, the scrape shows up in a picture I took immediately after the resole. It appears they covered up the scrape with brown polish or another shoe product. They did not mention any of the issues when the boots were picked up by a family member that lives near Peoria. Do not recommend, and I will not use them again.
