She still doesn't speak the best English, the place isn't in a fancy strip mall, but she works crazy hours, and with a little help from what seems like family and friends, they operate what seems to be a pretty high volume, strictly CASH business. While many will have issues with this, I carry cash and have NO issue with it whatsoever. Especially when you realize the value of the service provided. Only other piece of advice I'd give is to avoid prom and prime wedding season if possible, Amy and the VG crew can be quite popular late April into June and late Aug thru September.

The ladies at the shop were nice enough to special order the right kind of black metal zipper to match the rest of the jacket's hardware (instead of doing a plastic zipper). Knowing this might take a while I dropped it off towards the end of the summer so they'd have plenty of time to order the replacement zipper and do the job. All I requested was that I get it back before the weather started to turn cold enough that he would need the jacket. Just got the call today. $33 and I'm super happy with how it looks. I did need quite a bit of length taken off and she knew exactly what to do. I brought my shoes and she pinned my dress neatly and precise. We had conversation and she said she had been in the business for a very long time and I immediately knew I could trust her work. I gave her the pickup date which would have been in about two weeks. When I picked it up it was steamed and a perfect length. I would absolutely recommend this location for anyone's alterations, she knows how to work with delicate materials and does great work.
