While the Landfill experience is always great, always clean, for landfill and the scales are operated professionally. What is so disappointing are the hours of operation. As a private residential user of the landfill, its often difficult to get to the landfill during the week, or even late in the afternoon. Weekends are now not an option, the landfill is closed! So just how is a private residence suppose to benefit from our Landfill Coupons from the Recycle Saline program. Just no longer viable for the general public to use unless you take a day off from work! I cant even hire someone, I must be present at the gates when presenting the Landfill Coupon.

All of our neighbors use to have Republic and none of us had the same rate even though we live in the same neighborhood. When I finally cancelled my service I received a final prorated bill of $30 and was told it would be $15 to pick up the can. A month later I got a bill for $45 for the van pick up. Turns out it was $15 plus taxes and fees. If you like ever changing rates, added fees and missed pick up days then this is the service for you.

This is a recycling center. You can sell your junk here. They will buy all kinds of metal here…read more This includes copper and big cooler coils which some call "reefers". Of course they buy aluminum cans here too. I saw a sign that said they buy old appliances too like stoves, driers, washing machines, hot water heaters, microwaves and etc. I saw another sign that said they will buy AC units, refrigerators and cars but you must empty the Freon out of them first. This is the state of Arkansas. You do not need a refrigeration license to sell cooler coils here. Unlike, most recycling centers in Mississippi and Tennessee where they require you to have a AC license to sell these cooler coils.

I recently moved to a new state and needed to hire professionals to handle the move. I had one pick…read moreup location at my old address, but two delivery locations in my new city. I researched moving companies and called 5 companies to request bids. Blue Truck was one of those companies and they directed me to their agent, Brown's Moving and Storage. Each company provided a cost estimate, with a comment that it was subject to change, except Brown's. They told me the price was guaranteed unless there were extenuating circumstances, for example, if I was late arriving and made their crew wait for me. The quotes for each company were pretty close (+/- $500). One thing that set Brown's apart was their guarantee of timing. They were able to load my belongings one day (I did all the packing myself) and deliver it the next day since my new home was only 450 miles away. Other companies told me I would have my belongings anywhere from 10 to 18 days after they loaded it. The cost of me being in a hotel that long in my new city was something I couldn't add to the expense and also something I suspect a lot of people don't budget for when planning a move. Finally, the crew at Brown's were all great. JR and Kim handled the business end of my move perfectly from the quote to the scheduling. My moving crew, Jeremy, Blake, and Andy were powerhouses! They worked hard and handled all my things carefully. They were also really personable and fun in the process despite 90 degree temperatures. If you are planning a move originating in central Arkansas, I definitely recommend Brown's.

Use a 1/4 cup of soap because the water here is soft ! The downfall of this place is that it is really old ! However, the machines are kept up and it's relatively clean. They do have an attendant on duty during business hours. Last load at 8pm. Closes at 9pm most days.
