    What I received

    I saw the amazing reviews for this shop and decided to order an arrangement for my mother's birthday. I admit I placed the order online the night before, but the website didn't have the day blocked out. I purchased the better option Goodness and Light bouquet. The day of my mother's birthday came and went and the arrangement didn't arrive. I called in the morning on the next day and explained the situation, the gentleman on the phone jumped on me a bit and wouldn't let me speak saying they had been closed for the holidays, he was going to call me this morning and ask if I still wanted to deliver them or just get my money back. Figuring he has just had a bad day coming back from a long weekend I said I completely understand and would love to just have them delivered. He said okay and he would do them up real nice for me. Within 6 hours the flowers arrived and my mother sent me a picture of the arrangement and thanked me. Now the good things I can say, the arrangement was pretty and the flowers looked fresher then anything I have seen from another store around. But the arrangement didn't look anything like the picture at all, that I had ordered. Half the colors in the original were missing making it look completely different. Upset I went ahead and called the shop and spoke to a different gentleman who wanted pictures sent. I sent both pictures below and left 2 different phone numbers for them to reach back out to me. Thirty minutes later I get a call from my mother upset saying they contacted her and said they were refunding my money and I couldn't ever place another order with their shop again. She was upset because he wouldn't let her speak and she felt she couldn't enjoy her flowers. I believe it is extremely unprofessional to call the recipient of the flowers as they were not the one who had ordered it. If the gentleman had looked at the order or the sent messages he had 2 different phone numbers for me to call. I didn't call to get a refund, I just wanted to know what happened, I definitely didn't want to get banned for voicing my complaint to them. I am a reasonable person. If the shop realized that the original order couldn't be completed to look similar it would have taken 1 phone call to myself and I would have been happy to say yes just give me a designer's choice bouquet instead. I trust your artistic choice and I would have been fine with that and never have complained. I called back a third time to speak to the gentleman again and he again wouldn't let me speak and jumped down my throat wondering why I complained even though my mother liked the flowers. I never even got a chance to explain, which is why I am now writing this review in hopes they take it to heart if they read this and don't lose a customer because of miscommunication. Not every customer wants their money back after a mistake. But jumping to defensive and not listening to a customer's critique will lose customers faster than anything.

    My customer service experience was terrible horrible. They charged my card and called me and stated my card declined so that they can charge it again. So I contacted my bank and my bank stated that company was trying to charge multiple times without my authorization and it was flagged as fraud. So I called the company back and they yelled and argued with me over the to make it seemed like my card declined because I didn't have funds. I feel they allegedly lied and they didn't want to deliver the item to this particular address for personal reasons. I feel like they were trying to get more money out of me. They even declined on speaking with my bank on a third party call and that was suspicious to me. I may need to file a police report against this company. Please be careful doing business with this company. I've added a picture as proof that they allegedly was dishonest about saying my card declined.

    My husband and I used Johnson's Gardens for our wedding and we very impressed! They guided us through the process at our consultation. We didn't know much about flowers so all we told them was that we wanted sunflowers and catnip and they did the rest! They even grew the catnip for us. I really appreciated how they didn't try to oversell to us to get more money. The Johnsons looked at our venues and told us they were decorated enough that they didn't think we needed any additional decorations unless we wanted them. We ended up getting just bouquets, boutonnières, a ring pillow, and baskets with petals for the flower girls. Everything was to our satisfaction and we would recommend johnsons gardens to fellow brides and grooms.

    MAKE THE NEW LEAF YOUR "FIRST CHOICE" FOR FLOWERS!!!…read more ... is what's requested in "About Our Company" -- and I must emphatically agree! They DO, as also stated, "go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect." Shopping online from Maine, theirs was the 5th or 6th on-the-ground real, in-town (vs. online) floral shop I researched, following discovering them here, thanks to Yelp. Nobody offered what was shown on the typical FTD or Teleflora, it seemed. Only, I needed something special for my friend, who'd suddenly lost her husband. Arrangements offered by others weren't right for my artistic friend's elegantly designed and furnished home and tastes, nor the expression I'd hoped to achieve. THE NEW LEAF's, however, were phenomenal. I was blown away! Never had I seen such beautifully designed arrangements -- indeed, "beautiful floral designs" -- which is why I chose them. I selected "Soft Serenity" for the balanced trio of greens, lilac and whites, and balanced artful composition, too -- only to be sad seeing what'd arrived had substituted some yellow and other flowers. Uh-oh... Calling Dina with my disappointment, however, I was kindly offered either a refund or to send again. We worked closely to ensure that softly serene design I sought for comfort was replicated as closely as one can... I'm so glad I did! My friend was just over the moon with superlatives! While the first was nice, the second was absolutely Wonderful, she'd said. And just now on the phone she shared how the arrangement was simply Magnificent. "Wonderful" and "Magnificent" are pretty exceptional descriptors of their designs... All-in-all, a terrific value and experience. I've saved Dina's number for the next time I need something special for my friend in Virginia Beach.

    Fabulous local florist that knows the industry and understands customers' needs; they went above…read moreand beyond on a recent order for a friend that lost a loved one. At first visit, Sara and James were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. My vague wishes: "she likes low maintenance, maybe an orchid or an arrangement in the $75 range." She offered to create a fresh and unique arrangement in summer colors AND have an orchid dressed so I could choose; she even ok'd pickup outside of their normal hours. Turns out, I ended up needing it a day sooner...and they came through, calling to update me when needed. At pick-up, James said "I saw this peach double orchid and knew it was for your friend." That's personalized service at its finest!
