TLDR: I really liked the people and the service. I recommend!…read more To start, I was able to make an appointment within a week of calling. They were very friendly and made sure to get all the details of my vehicle to ensure they would have the necessary parts and oil. I asked if there was somewhere I could sit and work while I waited and was told yes. I arrived a tad earlier than my appointment (like 15 minutes). Upon arrival there was only 1 parking spot available, luckily I drive a small car and could fit into the space. Unsure where I would've gone if that wasn't the case. They took my vehicle back right away and checked me in. I sat in the lounge area. They have a fridge with complimentary bottled water, a coffee machine, a couch and couple of chairs and a tv. There was a smaller more private space that was next to this area with a rocking chair and space for kids to play. Nothing fancy but the Wi-Fi worked great for my VPN. They also have pictures and info about each of the employees. This is a nice touch and helped me know who was helping me. I received a text when they completed service and it gave me a link. At the link was a picture of my car and then the report of everything. I mean everything. For the tires it gave me each tires pressure along with a picture of each tire's tread. Picture of the engine. Picture of the fluids and how it compares to what it should look like. A full report with visual confirmation of everything. Very much appreciated. At checkout they explained everything they did and saw. Also explained their comprehensive rewards program that I enrolled in. Fair pricing. Overall I felt respected and that they were fair. They care about customer service and taking care of the vehicle. I will definitely be back.

Excellent Service, Superior Staff and Good Value as Usual!…read moreWe first went to Roy Hendricks when we moved to the area in 2016 because they were top rated on Yelp, it was a better experience and value than anywhere else we have gone in multiple states, and this still holds true today! Since then, we have brought all our family cars to Hendrick's many times and have always been very satisfied with their friendly and knowledgeable staff, good value, and their speedy repairs (their turn around repair times, even for large jobs, put dealers to shame).

I'm originally from Blackstone but haven't lived there in 25 years…read more I found myself in Blackstone, visiting my family, on the last day of July and realized my car's inspection would expire the next day. I took it to Rick's and upon inspection it initially looked as if I would need new brake pads. I agreed for Rick's to put new pads. Once they took my wheels off they measured and found in fact that I had a good four months left on my pads. Instead of doing what most auto shops would do Ricky called and advised me of the amount of life left on the pads! Guess who will get all of my mechanical business of any vehicle I own as long as I can help it. Ricky is what Blackstone is all about. Good, honest people who love their community. An honest days work for an honest days pay. It just doesn't get anymore ethical than that.

I found Rick's Auto Service nearby and checked out the Yelp review. I called them and explained the situation and asked if they could fit her in ASAP. They were expecting my daughter when she arrived and Janet was so helpful and friendly to her. There service and price were both amazing. My alternator was sliced open and then glued together and then duck taped by the weirdos out in Richmond who were only supposed to be giving me an oil change. They almost ruined my car. They don't do a good job of record keeping there. But it's a country place. So I assume it's talented mechanics but front office still operates in an outdated manner. Either a way, it's farmville.
