Because a supplement was issued to my ins and the miscommunication between to two, a week was lost and a rental car needed to be held over. The other was the 3.5% surcharge on my DEBIT card which resulted in $73.00 being charged to my checking account, on top of my deductible. I was told it's company policy. They will sell the car out right from under you, while I can understand with out anything down cars…read morecan't be held, we came in Wednesday just to look at a car listed on the website, which we were told was sold to auction ok no biggie, they tried showing us other cars none of which were in our budget or we liked for one reason or another as we were getting ready to go we were told let us show you this car we can work something out and they did bend over backwards to try to help fit it in our budget however to have the funds to pay for it we had to agree to a settlement with insurance to pay for it and it would take about a week to get it, they had husband fill out all the paperwork for the car we spent about 2 hours there doing so including a document showing intent to purchase with a date of the 13th and even got the temporary registration in hand. Maybe I'm wrong but isn't that legally binding for both parties once documents are signed. They turned around and sold it the next day which I would be ok with that because yes no money was put down, but it would have been nice to know when they called to "check in" if we had heard from the insurance yet, and we hadn't at that point, we could have asked the insurance to instead of totalling it out for a larger amount of they would pay for the lower cost of repairing the damage, because the car was still mechanically sound, and just needed a door. Because they couldn't give us the courtesy of knowing it had been sold so when we did hear back from the insurance company we accepted the offer so we could purchase the car. So now not only are we not able to get the car, but we are down a car that still could have been salvaged.

When I arrived, the service department said they didn't have the part. They promised to order it and give me a call when it arrived. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! Very dishonest!!
