I was told they are extremely knowledgeable about water systems of all kinds, and that certainly proved to be true. From the moment Jason arrived he was professional, patient and incredibly respectful. Most important, he knew his trade. He carefully inspected the system, explained everything clearly and identified that the softener settings were incorrect. Now that the settings are correct I am already seeing a big improvement. Finally, after years of other companies not resolving it. And finally I have clear water. In all my years of dealing with home service companies, this is one of the best service experience I have had. I only wish I found Adams Water Treatment sooner. I even thought of asking about a reverse osmosis filter for the kitchen and I was pleasantly surprised their pricing was better than the quotes I received in the past. That gave me even more confidence that this is a company that believes in fair pricing and quality service. If you are looking for a company with the greatest expertise, fair pricing, honest recommendations and quality service, I highly recommend Adams Water Treatment.

Gave tons of information on home visit as far as options and mechanism of action and relative benefits versus costs of various systems and sizes. Calling the office is easy and if number need be left due to no answer a return call is always quickly received. Install was by a 2man crew(not the owner) but they did an excellent, clean and timely install. HIGHLY RECOMMEND them after dealing with 2 other companies over the past 25 years that never really met let alone exceeded expectations like Adams.

We initially looked into Costco and their recommended company, but were surprised when their quote was nearly double what we ultimately paid. That's when we called Culligan of Crystal Lake, and Stewart Gow came out to meet us, his license plate read "CLGN MAN," which made us smile. Stewart has been with Culligan for 20 years and it really shows. He never tried to upsell us or push anything we didn't need. Instead, he patiently explained the whole system, answered all our questions without any pressure, and gave us a straightforward price we felt great about. The installation was handled professionally, and after a week of using the system we couldn't be happier. Today, Stewart even stopped by to double check that everything was working perfectly. The other company offered a discount if we wrote a review before even using their product. This review, I'm writing because I'm genuinely thankful for the outstanding service, quality product, and personal touch we received from Stewart Gow and Culligan of Crystal Lake. Thank you!

I added salt, it softened the water. Comed power would come and go, I would reset the clock so that it would cycle at night. 22 years passed. It softened the water. Recently noticed a very slight change in water from activated carbon filter water in refrigerator (sourced directly from unsoftened water). Also started getting harder water in shower, Asked Culligan Water of Crystal Lake to inspect for their standard service fee. Tested the water and found that it was cycling correctly by testing the warm water (hard) and the cold water (soft), compared to the un-softened well water (really hard). Adjusted the cycle to run at 600 gallons instead of 800 gallons. Soft water again after the hard water finally cleared from water heater. Technician was super polite, technically strong, didn't want to sell me anything new, assured me that the system was working great and that they could service all but the flow meter (hasn't been manufactured for years, appears to be separate supplier - fleck). Very happy, hopefully won't have to call them again because the product just works that well. PS try to find a picture of a Mark 89 with a flow meter on the web. Rare as hen's teeth. From patent on flow meter, appears to be a very old Fleck.

I Googled well service near me and picked Water Well Services. I called at 07:30 and was told that the service man would be there right after he took care of a well in Crystal Lake. He arrived at 09:00 and had the new pump and pressure tank installed by 11:30. He did a great job and didn't mind me asking a lot of questions. I highly recommend Water Well Services.

First, let me preface this by stating the following: I love few things more than writing a glowing…read morereview for a local, family-owned business. I've been in a situation (more than once) where enthusiastic recommendations from local folks for service providers saved me the potential frustration of dealing with someone less-than-reputable. The Well Doctor, as it happens, were recommended to me in this fashion and now, having been graced with their expertise and expediance, I'm prompted to spread the gospel of their quality. Here goes. This previous Saturday, while eating dinner, I heard our well pump running with a frequency typically indicative of a bath tub being filled -- kicks on, runs for 10 seconds, kicks off.. 30 seconds later, repeat, etc. -- after this happened a number of times, I got up to investigate the matter. No faucets were running. Checked the basement, where our pressure tank resides, and noted the pressure gauge read a tad fishy. With each time the pump kicked on, it didn't restore the pressure to its cut-off, but instead would bump up 2-4 psi. Enter my concern. Begin my stress. Subsequent DIY research and investigation yielded no comforting news. I flipped the breaker for the pump and reached out to a number of plumbers and well experts, hoping for the best: A failing pressure gauge? Maybe the pressure tank, at worst? Surely not the pump, though, if luck is on my side. The majority of Sunday passed with no firm plan in place as to when, on Monday, I could get an appointment. Of the several companies I'd reached out to, I'd heard back from only two (one of which couldn't help me), but no scheduling could take place until Monday morning at earliest. My wife, in her infinitely resourceful way, reached out on the local community blotter (on Facebook) and asked for recommendations. Almost immediately, five respondants glowingly referred us to The Well Doctor, whom I quickly reached out to. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Brian, who scheduled me for an early Monday AM appointment. The relief was already felt. An appointment. An idea of what was going on. We felt better already. Promptly and true to his word, Brian and his associate arrived at the pre-arranged time and very quickly and transparently diagnosed and educated us on the problem. He explained his recommendations, gave us a solid quote (which I'll add was, on the pump alone, about $600 less than a competitor's quote [a competitor who was unable to firmly schedule an appointment, I might add]), and upon approval, immediately got down to business. I can now say, on the other side of this debacle, that my expectations were bested by a long shot. Throughout the process, Brian would update us on his findings: the well depth is [x], here's how it will affect the quote, here's what we're doing next, etc. He estimated a four-hour project and completed everything in three. We felt extremely well (no pun) taken care of. All of this said, I'd without hesitation recommend Brian & The Well Doctor to anyone in a similar boat. If you're finding yourself with a failing well water system, reach out and get it sorted! Highly, highly recommended!
