Then they lost one baby during the c-section, and when an emergency happened with the 2nd baby, the baby died because their on-call decided it would be better to wait until morning, instead of staying at the office the extra hour to save it. They then told us we had to wait three months to have our dog spayed, then denied it when we called back and told us we had to wait another two months, despite us telling them she was going back into her cycle and that it needed to be done very soon. The reception staff are horrible, they showed no compassion during this entire situation. I would not ever take any of my animals here-ever again.

She was calm and respectful with both my animal and with me. She explained procedures in detail and even changed the procedures and problem-solved outside the box when the need arose. The front desk staff I worked with were seasoned professionals who went above and beyond to advocate for my animal when the first vet refused to transfer medical records in time for the appointment. When I choose a vet, it is for the animal, not the fancy waiting room, or the WiFi. We received solid medical care from this entire team and they earned a 5 star review.

But the past 2 years their attitude towards caring for pets and providing a comfortable environment has changed dramatically. There is no reason to be lectured on how terrible of a pet owner you are when your pet is in the middle of an emergency. The receptionist and technician were absolutely horrible when we needed veterinary services at a critical time. Telling us it wasn't as bad as it was. I hope they enjoyed leaving early for the day, because we will never be back.

So when someone suggested Healthy Dog Center, I was skeptical, but I needn't have been--my dog loved the attention and socialization, and had none of the issues she exhibited elsewhere. To my relief, Healthy Dog Center was clearly experienced and comfortable with such removal, answering my questions and easing my fears. I didn't like my last vet due to them taking my girls out of the room for just a routine check. (I like to be there with them in case there are nerves or something) but the only time they took them out of the room was for a blood test I had given permission for in addition to their normal visit. The vet wasn't some dragon, and the staff were so friendly and nice. When I had first called to schedule with them they had told me they were not taking new customers, but when I mentioned that the reason I had heard of them was when I had tried to take my prior cat that was dying and I had scheduled a vet visit that I had ultimately not used due to my prior cat dying on the way to the vet in my car. She asked if I had been put in the system and I said that I didn't know but she checked and I was in there! She updated my file and reinstated me as active and got me back in to see the vet.
