We called Absolute Gun Dogs, and they were more than happy to accommodate our dogs for the next couple days. The facility is about 20 min out of town, but it's a great isolated area which makes sense. And while the main focus of theirs is dog training/breeding, they have a beautiful boarding facility as well- the grounds were kept clean and presentable. When we came to pick up the pups we were greeted by the owner, who gave us a quick summary of their stay and interactions with our fur family (proving they pay great attention to your pet). Really, my only complaint was that it was cash only. Other than that, it was a great experience!

Our dog isn't a hunting dog so we weren't sure if a place named Absolute Gun Dogs would be right for her, but she loves it here and they take great care of her. Quite honestly, hanging out with other well trained dogs has been good for her. Our dog has been going there for six years and I've always felt like Absolute has cared for her like one of their own. If you are looking for a place to board your dog overnight or doggy daycare definitely give Absolute a call.

So when someone suggested Healthy Dog Center, I was skeptical, but I needn't have been--my dog loved the attention and socialization, and had none of the issues she exhibited elsewhere. When I got a new puppy who turned out to be prone to ear infections, my vet said I should find a groomer experienced with removing the ear hair of poodles and doodles. To my relief, Healthy Dog Center was clearly experienced and comfortable with such removal, answering my questions and easing my fears. And once again, my dog came back just as happy and healthy as I left him--but a lot cleaner and fluffier.

I want to provide my clients with a high quality bathing service at my boarding kennel and I knew I wanted hands on training for this. I was excited to find out Jacque, who I've used for my own dogs, offered training services. I had no hesitation asking for her help as I already knew her attention to detail was superior. This is exactly the kind of person to learn from. We went over every detail, from the smallest product, the most effective treatments to the deluxe services. She tailored my training to MY needs. Very impressive! The confidence I've gain from Jacque's training has me ready to go, even my husband has commented on how my confidence has shot through the roof. I'm so thankful I've made this move. Then they lost one baby during the c-section, and when an emergency happened with the 2nd baby, the baby died because their on-call decided it would be better to wait until morning, instead of staying at the office the extra hour to save it. They then told us we had to wait three months to have our dog spayed, then denied it when we called back and told us we had to wait another two months, despite us telling them she was going back into her cycle and that it needed to be done very soon. The reception staff are horrible, they showed no compassion during this entire situation. I would not ever take any of my animals here-ever again.
