On Monday November 18 I bought 4 guppies. A w few days before my water tested 100% fine. Nothing wrong with it at all. A few days after getting the guppies on the 21st one died so I thought maybe that one was just not good. The next few days 2 more of the ones I had just bought died. The first fish that died I did flush not thinking mouthing of it. But the other 2 and the one that was still alive I decided to return I did get $16 back for those fish. However it is now the 24th and I have had 5! More fish die and my water is absolutely terrible. I don't know if they had a bad shipment of fish or something wrong with their water. But in the last 3 days I have had about $50 worth of fish die including my pleco. I don't know now my snails are doing but I don't know if my fish are going to survive now considering the shock they are clearly going through. Thanks PetSmart. Will never be getting fish here again. I should have taken a women returning a dead betta the day I got them as a sign! read more

My little puppy is a mini yorkie and they cut all my dog's hair without paying attention to the instructions I told them. up to the face, my little girl does not have a centimeter of hair right now and she looks like a chihuahua and not a yorkie. Today I decided I wanted to buy my free goldfish a buddy. I went in thinking, I'm gonna buy an average sized goldfish and be on my way. The lady that was standing over by the goldfish tanks asked if I needed help.. I explained that I have 1 goldfish that I got from the saint Mary's carnival and he needs a buddy. She asked what size fish tank I have and I told her 5 gallons. She proclaimed that I cannot put more than 1 fish in a 5 gal tank and that the fish would die immediately. I said well I started the tank with 2 fish, 1 died, so now I need 1 more. She kept telling me, I wouldn't recommend it. She basically made me feel like I couldn't buy a dang fish! I had to practically beg her to let me buy one. When she put the fish in the bag she said "well her you go then". ( in a very snotty attitude kind of way). I get that it may not be right to put 2 goldfish in a smaller tank but when you look at how many fish they have in 1 tank, I wouldn't think I would be doing more harm. They either need to retrain her to actually sell fish to customers or fire her. I will not be buying fish from pet smart ever again. read more

I decided at last minute the night before, that I wanted to have my two dogs, a Parsons terrier and a Bull dog-pug mix, groomed the next day. I was able to use the App and get my Terrier set up but wasn't able to get my other dog set up with an appt. I called as the app told me to and was pretty happy I did. I was kindly educated on why the app wouldn't let me set up my BullXPug's appt, what usually happens for a grooming appt (our 1st time) and that made me feel really comfortable with the level of care and investment that the Groomers have. I was able to drop both of them off that evening for their mini Spa day with Ally, and she made a lifer out of me. She examined my furbabies well, reviewed services with me, explained everything, and listened to me warn her about the possible anxiety from my one doggos. I got my phone call from her that they were ready for pick up, and even got an adorable progress card of how their visit was. I was so happy to see how happy and freshened up they were. I'm planning on bringing them back every 4-6 weeks. :) read more

Absolutely terrible customer service in their grooming department. Unfriendly and not the slightest bit knowledgable or loving. Also while glancing through their viewing window one of the girls whapped a small dog on the head with the brush. I then cancelled my appointment to have my cat groomed. I have no clue how they are functioning hiring people like that. Not to mentioned they also messed up my appointment time as well. read more

I took my dog here and will never return. They chopped off half of her hair and in the process gave her burns and nipped her butt. I am taking her to the vet tomorrow because she can't poop now! Avoid this place!!!! I've talked to several people that have had issues here. The place I kennel her was disgusted how Petsmart treated and cut my dogs hair. She said she has heard horrible things from other owners that have used Petsmart. I don't think I will ever step foot into this Petsmart again! read more

After waiting. And waiting. And waiting. I finally left. I'l buy online from now on. One employee followed a single customer around the store the whole time I was there, helping her pick out doggie biscuits, then following her to two other sections, all after I told him I needed something out of a locked case. I have never had a pet groomed here, but I did buy two guinea pigs from here. The staff is very knowledgeable and sometimes friendly. I get a lot of the pigs supplies up here and have always felt very welcomed. read more

Once and a while the staff is friendly and asks if they can help. I can usually find what I need but when it comes to the register they need to put more productive and speedy cashiers up front. I stood there at an older lady's line and waited literally 5 minutes before the lady in front of me who worked ther called another cashier to the front. As I was going to switch lanes a person rushed in front of me, so I stayed in the elderly woman's line trying to be patient although I had somewhere that I needed to be. 2 more minutes pass and the other cashier calls over for more people. Meanwhile the woman in front of me tries directing me to the other cashier.... I again get stuck in the line I'm in and just figure that I'd stay and wait it out. The cashier takes her time yapping with the other woman, which upsets me that the cashier isn't trying to hurry up. When they finally say "goodbye" and "see you tomorrow!" I decide to just buy 2 of the 4 items I was carrying. Any more than 2 items would have kept me there much longer. She knew I was annoyed and unpleased but didn't acknowledge the fact that I had been waiting for so long just to get 2 things... Will not be shopping here any time soon. There are plenty of places online and in store that I can buy my kitties stuff. read more

I have take my dog to petsmart to be groomed for a couple years because it is easier for me to afford. However I took my dog there today and when we got home, after picking him up, I noticed be had a huge cut on his tail. He is fine which is nice, the problem is, i wasn't informed that the accident happened. My opinion is that they don't know how to properly handle nervous dogs, and when they make mistakes they don't let the pet owners know. I would not recommend this place if your fur baby is nervous while being groomed, Or if you value honesty in your groomers. I enjoy the store Itself but I will NEVER take my dog back to be groomed. read more

There's no better place to get pet supplies than PetSmart. They did a good job grooming my 200 pound newfie, so I think they'll do a good job on your pet, too. Staff is very friendly, even when your pet has an accident and they have to clean it up. read more

Quite taking our Pomeranian there- they were so rough with him. The did not realize we were watching as they were cutting his hair- they were chocking him- I had to go in and say something- stayed there for the rest of the appointment! And we've never taken him back!!! He is the most calm, and gentle dog. I talked to the manager about woman that was trimming our dog- he told me they've had several complaints about her, but nothing has been done. BE CAUTIOUS!!! As for the SHOPPING experience- the employees are very friendly and helpful!!!! read more

Had a great experience while picking out my turtle from there. The staff was very knowledgeable and had answers for all of my questions, and even if they didn't they would look up the answers for me. They helped me get the best deal on the supplies I needed, and showed me ways to save money on the reoccurring expenses. Overall the customer service was awesome and I will continue to do business with them. read more
