It was taking up my entire person-hood! The day I'm done with the second round, I have an appointment here (had to reschedule once or twice-- I'm broke.) After getting quoted exorbitant prices in different places, this office quoted the least in town for a simple extraction, and... I've had an extraction before, but Dr. Hutchins had that thing out of my mouth in less than 5 minutes. It took longer for setup than the actual extraction! My last one took 45 minutes of work for a similar procedure. I even asked "...Was that it?" after Hutchins' work. The staff here are also very kind and describe anything you need explained, and also made sure the local anesthetic was doing its job before getting anything too crazy near my mouth. (I've heard horror stories from friends going to other dentists. I am very pleased to say that was not the case with Dr. Hutchins!) If I can keep coming back here, I won't be nearly as scared of the dentist.

The office was super to schedule this quickly, and in more than one appointment, so I didnt drool on my co workers from being too numb. Dr Hutchins has always given me his honest opinion on treatment, and not what costs most. I totally trust his judgement, and he appreciates his patients, and tells us we can call weekends if an emergency arises. His office is beautiful, and his staff is great. I wish now I had read the yelp reviews first because I had the exact same experience as so many…read moreother one star reviews. I moved to the area about a year ago and had not been in to get my teeth cleaned since moving here. I was used to going every six months so decided I needed to get in somewhere for routine cleaning. I called them on Tuesday and was surprised to hear they had appointments available the very next day. Some of the other local dentists I had contacted were booking appointments two months out. I arrived on time went through "routine" full mouth x-ray, was moved to a room went through a "routine" full mouth 3-D imaging scan from the dental hygienist. The dentist then came in the room spent about 15 seconds, looking at my photos on the screen never once even looked in my mouth and told me I needed three crowns and a bunch of other dental work. I was then ushered upfront to the business office and was told the total cost for the work I needed to have done was slightly over $7000. I declined and was told that was my only option or I could decline treatment which I did. I was there for over two hours and didn't even get the routine cleaning that I had scheduled an appointment for. I now have an appointment with a highly recommended local dentist about two months out, but I'm happy to wait. This place just really seemed like a total scam to me.

They send you text to your phone as well as emails to ensure you could never forget about or miss your appointment. They are willing to try to work with your schedule and are beyond friendly! They have all modern equipment and doctor Goodwin knows what he is doing! Highly recommend him!
