Still, after several visits and phone calls, there's no denying that the staff who have helped me know what they're doing and I can trust them. The high-tech comprehensive eye exam, and multiple rooms that you move in and out of have soft lighting and have helpful info posters. The two staff that we've interacted with are knowledgable and patient enough to answer any questions we have without unnecessary attitude, and making appointments is as easy as a quick phone call. The wait has never been too long, and there's a TV screen in the small waiting room that seems to have eye health-related commercials on a loop that can be interesting to watch. I'd recommend this place.

When I arrived at LensCrafters this time, a friendly and very knowledgeable elegant lady, Elizabeth Shires, whom later I found out was the Licensed Store Manager, gave me a warm welcome, had me take a seat, and proceeded to ask the right questions to find out what my needs were, insurance information, and input everything into a portable computer so I'd know the exact amount the eyeglasses would cost, the promotional discount the store would give me, how much the insurance would cover, and the remaining amount that I would need to pay. She was so professional that I decided at that moment that I would like to deal exclusively with her throughout my purchase of my new eyeglasses. I chose the Polo by Ralph Lauren frames which I had previously seen and selected as my favorite. And added, among other things, their premium, personalized Adaptive Progressive Lenses designed for seamless, multi-distance vision. These proprietary lenses feature digital free-form technology, aiming for easy adjustment and wide, clear viewing areas. The glasses were not cheap, but with the store's promotional discount and extensive eyeglasses insurance benefits, what I ended up paying was a minimal amount. In just a few days later, sooner than what I had anticipated, I received a text message from LensCrafters that my eyeglasses were ready for pickup. I gave the store a call to see when Elizabeth would be available to fit them on me and made an appointment to be there around her working hours for that day. She fitted my the eyeglasses and reminded me of the LensCrafters' 30-days "Happiness Guarantee," which allowed for adjustments or exchanges if you are not satisfied with the fit or prescription within 30 days of purchase. At first, I was very happy with the lenses themselves, but the nose pads that came with them were small and made of hard plastic that were hurting my nose skin. So I went back with them and Elizabeth made some adjustments. After trying them on for a few days they still were hurting my nose, so I went back and asked if she could replace these nose pads with some a little larger ones made of a softer material, and she did. Well this seemed to work and I no longer had this problem. I was able to enjoy my eyeglasses from then on. From driving my Lexus to watching TV, to writing my reviews. I highly recommend this LensCrafters, and can truly say that Elizabeth and all her staff far exceeded my highest of expectations.

The purpose of the exam was an annual check-up. I wear contacts. The first contact trial made my vision worse. The second testing was on target. I thought I had paid the bill in full last week but today was told of another $94.00 charge. The front office handled things poorly, when I asked questions. The explanation given was that I was older, and this was the way it was done for older patients. I am 72. I don't have glaucoma. I don't have cataracts. I do have some neurological problems. I declined to speak with Dr. Jacobs at the time because I felt the need to remove myself from the situation. I respect his expertise. However, I will not be returning to this practice because of the billing methods. My husband recently had a good experience. Having no association with Sam's Club itself, this visual exam facility is operated by Dr. Guy Dietels, an independent Doctor of Optometry. But don't let its small size fool you. Today, when I went for my appointment to have my eyes checked by Dr. Dietels, the other, also very friendly, administrative assistant, welcomed me and had me fill out the new patient form, after having a look of my insurance card. She then very professionally performed the preliminary eye tests, and had me take a seat to wait for the Doctor to see me. All the positive feedbacks that I had received about Dr. Dietels, none even compared to the wonderful person as well as professional that he was. He introduced himself to me, and was very kind, courteous, and professional throughout the entire examination. He took his time examining my eyes to make sure my eyeglasses prescription came out perfect, as well as performing all the other routine tests, and dilated my eyes to check for any abnormalities.
