I could leave a zero or minus I would. Yesterday 1-12-26, my 77 year old mother had an appt with…read moreDoctor (Peter S. ) to look over 3 thyroid nodule ultrasound results that one we had already been advised needed a biopsy done ASAP due to the size . My mother is a cancer survivor, has altimezers ,pace maker and a few more health issues .. for sure not in good health but she does have great spirits! I am a only child and have been her POA for 10 years now, I carry her paperwork to all her new doctor locations as needed. Yesterday the woman at the front desk that sits on the left side was one of the worst human beings I have ever had to deal with when it comes to mother. First she tried to tell me my POA paperwork was NOT correct and they refused to scan it in. ( she was incorrect i dod verify it was correct ) moving on she made my mother get up and walk to the desk and of coarse mother asked her why she was treating us this way that of all her doctors, surgeries ect ,no one had ever refused the paperwork. Of coarse the the woman tried to still argue and I just asked mother to go sit down and we would worry about it later. She gave me paperwork to fill out and tried to get me to pay a $25.00 copay . I let her know mother does not have co pays and gave her all mothers insurance info. I went to sit down to fill the paperwork out and before I finished she called me back up to the front desk and advised they could not see mother that she had Medicare/Medicaid of Ga ! Mother also has BCBS of TN. Again at no other doctor office or hospital has ANYONE ever refused to see mother! Need to add in this person had no emotions no empathy no facial expressions, it was like she was dead inside. Zero customer service. This location is where she was referred to and they refused her! There is a reason why this appt was made so quickly due to the size of the nodule and to get a biopsy scheduled. I understand everyone has things going on in their lives that can make them act the way this woman did but at no time is this acceptable .. come on my mother may be walking around with cancer again and she dismissed her and did NOT give a damn! Do NOT take one of your loved ones to this location unless you want this type of customer service and your loved on to be refused treatment!

So much for compassion and understanding my viewpoint. I am a naturopath and herbalist who since moving to Dalton practices to those word of mouth only. Here's a post to his herbal school. http://www.herballegacy.com/Herbal_Education.html I would think this Doctor would research other supplements besides Standard Process. Dr. Christopher has healed thousands. I never received any follow up calls from her office but shes lies and says her front desk called. (For the record I use a landline with an answering service) Its a shame that my association with this Doctor has turned out less than favorable. Since both of us are in the healing field.....I healed my cancer 33 years ago and now am a health coach to others. I would like Dr. Janet to treat others with respect. Or stick with quilts only.

Their facility is a little "contemporary" as all the tables are together and you can see and hear everyone being adjusted, there is no privacy but if you're OK with this it's a great place to get a quality adjustment. There are no private rooms here either, you sign a HIPA release to agree to open treatment. As I received my adjustment, an older gentleman sat and watched on the table next to me as he and the chiropractor chatted. Kids played loudly in the play space in the corner. The massage therapist employed there sat in the waiting space with his cell phone plugged into the wall and complained to the office manager about an expected client appointment being a few minutes late. Really? I'm new to the area but have had chiropractic care for 20 years. Chiropractors either have the intuitive feel for how much force is needed to adjust each segment of need in your frame or they don't. The male chiropractor practicing here does not. I can't say how his wife and co-practitioner does since I will not return to find out. Also, they billed my insurance for treatment I never received. They have been reported. What can I say positively about this place? The chiropractor was friendly. The best way to describe this place would be chiropractic "fast food", poor quality and not worth the money.

After waiting a few minutes the operator and another employee came in saying that BCBS Medicare insurance wasn't going to approve the scan for today. I would have to reschedule. What about my copay? The woman said they could hold it until the rescheduled date or they would refund it. I got angry and frustrated with this situation and blew up at the young woman.
