Sometimes it wouldn't even restart. Anyhow, I had made up my mind to get it repaired when I was in Elkhart, IN after finishing up with my MorRyde maintenance visit. I googled Onan generator repair shops near me and these guys showed up. They were highly rated! I contacted Luis Arias and they were able to look at my unit on 7/17/26. He diagnosed the problem immediately, repairs were completed and I was gone within one hour and 20 minutes at the most. My controller board was bad and had to be replaced. He also installed a relay which would allow my generator to work with an aftermarket fuel pump in case I couldn't find an OEM pump. The repair costs was more than fair. These guys are friendly, knowledgeable and know just what to look for! Now my generator runs like a champ! It's runs much smoother and quieter. I would highly recommend this company if you're in the Elkhart area and having issues with your on-board generator. They stay busy but he worked me in since I was so far from home. Top notch company! I was unaware of this until a month later I noticed hydraulic fluid seeping from the edge onto the frame. I checked fluid tank which was a quart low. I finally got it in for service July 15th in Dewey, AZ where they found the screw into the hydraulic line. After hydraulic line replacement and degreasing it cost me $1000.00. You simply cannot get better knowledgeable service at a reasonable price than at ESS. I just had a very long punch list done at ESS including new carpet throughout, replace a roof AC/Heat pump (along with ductwork butchered by a prior shop), new TVs/DVDs/Sound system in front and BR, replacement dash radio, Aladdin system resurrected from the dead, paint work needed from surface corrosion on the frames of all the slideouts, 4 new slide toppers, new generator exhaust, entry door window restoration, new CB/antenna and a host of service items including engine, generator, autoleveling and AquaHot systems, and more. Tom Bumpus and PJ McGann were simply awesome. The paintwork is a work of art ... you simply cannot tell it from the original and my paint is metallic gold which is extraordinarily difficult to match up. ALL of the work was awesome. After so many failed attempts locally to get quality work done near my home, it was worth the 2400 mile round trip to Elkhart. I easily spent more time and money locally over a year to get repeatedly disappointed in the quality of workmanship and the pricing, so the trip was well worth it. Tom and PJ have the knowledge, the experience and, most of all, the proper motivation to get it done right the first time.

I finally got her and she said she would find the right one, call me back and get everything right. I never received a call back. I left ANOTHER message stating that I was going to return the item and that since I never got a call back from Trina, I ordered the correct one elsewhere. I asked to be credited for the return shipping and to waive the 20% (you heard me right, 20%) restocking fee. I STILL never got that call back. So I called again from the post office, this time actually getting Trina. When I repeated my claim that it was her mistake she responded, and I am seriously quoting here... "I'm really good. I wouldn't have made that mistake." I said thank you and hung up. Wow. Has anyone ever been trained at customer service? This is ridiculous. Found out it was at Tiara RV which was 1.5 hours from Grand Rapids in Elkhart, Indiana. Okay, we can check it out. My son was looking at the same time and checked them out and found a deal he liked so we both drove down together. Upon entering we were greeted by several people including our salesman Tanner Livingston. The salesman that had quoted my son on his unit turned him over to Tanner so we all did everything together. We looked at the trailer and really liked it. Same with my son on his trailer (a new 2020) Went back to the office and sat with Tanner while he worked up my deal first. I had a fair offer in mind (didn't say anything though) and Tanner presented me with a price that exceeded that. We were very satisfied with his initial offer and didn't feel the need to beat him up-SOLD. Then he wrote up the offer for my sons pick. After a moment of negotiation the deal was done-SOLD. Tanner went out of his way to make two really great deals for us. A Great salesman. We came back the following week to pick ours up and it was in the garage to do the walk thru. Matt did a nice job going thru everything. The hitch we wanted(Husky 32216) was installed. Signed papers, paid the amount due and we were on our way in less than 90 min. Our experience in dealing with Tanner and Tiara RV was exceptional and pleasant. Everybody was friendly, professional and helpful. The same was experienced when I returned with my son to pick up his new trailer. But the only thing missing from my purchase/pickup was the remote for the installed Jensen stereo. Well, Tanner found one and had it waiting for me on this visit! What customer service. Whatever past bad reviews I saw here on YELP do not reflect what I saw and experienced on my three visits. Tiara RV Sales and Tanner Livingston exceeded my expectations and I would certainly purchase from them again as well as suggest them to others looking for a trailer. I am a Happy Camper.

Incompetence and indifference a bad combo. Bought a used unit they had taken on trade. Unit well…read morecared for with low miles. Ensured multiple times how unit had been winterized, oil changed, and that unit was ready to roll. Asked twice if a pre-delivery inspection checklist was utilized. Ensured they did so, and that it was completely ready to go. Took unit straight to outdoor storage for 3 weeks and had several days of freezing temps. Weather warmed for a short time, so we used the RV. Discovered unit had not been winterized, grey tank was ~2/3 full, black tank ~1/3, no anti-freeze in pipes, oil not changed, generator exhaust pipe was hanging loose below unit, all tires low air pressure. Brought unit back expecting nothing more than an explanation of how this happened, an apology and a quick fix of these items. No apology, empathy or taking of responsibility. Reluctantly agreed to fix the items but made us leave it without a clear return date, which ruined our planned Thanksgiving trip. Upon pickup, thought we would get a better explanation and some kind of apology, maybe a wash of the RV to make us feel a bit better... but instead, more excuses, double talk, indifference and attitude. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place... we are certain, the same stuff is happening with their own Phoenix products. Quality assurance and customer service would be evident throughout the company if they were important to them! Like Share
