Bought a lottery ticket at this store on June 11th, 2018. Gave the owner of the store $11 for $6 worth of lottery plays. (I wanted a $5 bill back to give a co-worker.) Store owner handed me my lottery ticket - and no change. When I said I gave him a $10 bill and a $1 bill, he said "No, you gave me a $1 and a $5" lifting up the $1 bill I gave him and a beat-up/torn $5 bill from his drawer. I firmly said I gave him a $10 and a $1. Store owner insisted I gave him a $5 and a $1, saying there would be no reason to give him a $10 and a $1. I said I gave him a $10 and a $1 to get a $5 bill back. Store owner said "No you didn't", glaring at me. I left the store saying - and I certainly meant it - that I will never set foot in his store again. I'm in my 60's and was wearing a suit during that visit. If you do business with this guy, I would make a point of verbalizing how much money you hand him. He forgot how much I gave him in about 2 seconds. I've been going to this store for 10 years. Prior owners were very nice people. This guy, not so much, in my opinion. read more
