They told me if I order it online, they'd have it in a week or two, so I placed the order. I called a week later, they said it wasn't in yet, should be in next week. I called a week later, no answer, left a message, no reply. Sent an email, no reply. Sent a direct message on Instagram, no reply. Called again, no answer, but a request to text them. Good selection of party favors as you walk in to the "wine" section which is huge. Cold beer and craft beers abound. Last room is liquor. Staff is not as familiar with liquor (at least when I asked about bourbons)- however all prices appeared to be good and not high, even on accessories such as vermouth. They also had a really nice selection of all liquors. Good place to look for stuff! read more

This business is a joke. They list for sale items they do not have and cannot get. Ordered 2 bottles of bourbon (350$) 1 month ago. I made over 5 attempts to both email and call the business with no success. No one answers the phone and there is not a voicemail set. I had to go through PayPal for file a claim before I finally got a response from them. I received my order yesterday (1 month from date of order) and NONE of the order was correct. I can't speak to the wine section, but I know my scotch and he has a great collection - best I've seen in metro Detroit. Just past a corner, with a driveway very close to the corner station, such that northbound traffic has a hard time entering. From the outside there is little to notice, a rather plain and small looking building. There is a long cubby outside to pull a cart from. Inside is large but plain feeling, with a series of 4 rooms you have to go through in order. There is a room of drinking related trinkets, a large wine room with high shelving. The sides of the room is broken down by type, ad be price from highest price up high and cheapest low, ad the middle has sale wines. The end of the room has a cold beer area, including a beer cave with cases of craft beer for the sale. The back corner of the room is the bottle return area. Then there is a large craft beer room, with a Michigan beer shelf area. Pretty decent selection. The last area is liquor and checkout, there is a very large selection of liquor brands and types. Just moved to Michigan and my husband was told by some colleagues at work to visit the Beverage Warehouse if he liked beer. I had driven past it a few times and it doesn't really shout, "I'm interesting!" But, if you step inside, your jaw will drop from the awe inspiring selection. They had a HUGE collection of wine, beer, liquor and had pretty much anything you would want/need to serve it or consume it. They even sold snacks and cigars! If you are crafty or enjoy pinterest projects, they sell a plethora of the little bottles of liquor that are the perfect size! The gentleman who were working were attentive and friendly to myself and my husband and offered their help to us multiple times. Today may have been our first trip to the warehouse. When I was a kid I used to think Toys "R" Us was the most amazing place on earth. Now that I'm older and Toys "R" Us has gone bankrupt beverage warehouse is the most amazing place on the planet. I should go more often but society frowns on that much alcohol consumption. But on a special occasion, when I need a perfect gift, or I just want to try a new bourbon, this is the place. Actually this is the place for anything. Microbrews. You can buy the mix and match. Everybody in there is way into spirits. So if you say I kind a like this but I am a fan of that they will run to the shelf and excitedly pull down seven or eight bottles and explain the differences in the gin or the bourbon or the vodka or any of the microbrews and I'll compare them to things you like or have had in the past. Today I went in looking for a very specific bourbon from a northern Michigan distillery and they did not have it in stock. I was not surprised. It's very hard to come by. But he quickly recommended four other Michigan distilled Bourbons. And then he said he would order the one that I wanted and would call me when it comes in. Yes! He's going to call me as soon as the bourbon I want to gets delivered sometime next week. That's the kind of thing you just can't get at your corner Rite Aid or most places. read more

Liquor: These guys are awesome. 'Nuff said. You name it and they probably carry it (so long as it is available in Michigan). As of late they've even had some private single barrel Buffalo Trace and Blanton's in the house. Basically, they buy the whole barrel from the distiller, then you buy a bottle from them which came from said barrel. Rad. Wine: I'm not a wine guy so I can't really speak to their selection. But it seems like they carry quite a lot. What bothers me about their wine is how they have multiple signs explaining that all their wine is all 20% off, and that the discount is already reflected in the price listed on the bottle. But then the prices listed on the bottle are comparable to (or even higher than) what I've seen elsewhere. Huh? I don't get it. Just lose the silly misleading signs already. Beer: I am a beer guy, and ever since they recently revamped their beer room the craft/import selection went from being decent to quite good. They even added an additional cooler for craft beer, and devoted one or two small shelves to selling assorted singles (broken down 4/6-packs). In my opinion if they want to go from being a good store to a great store they should devote more real estate to singles. Also, the beer pricing is generally inconsistent. Depending on the brand their prices run anywhere from competitive to a few dollars more than I prefer to spend. This place is pretty close to my house and I would absolutely shop here even more if they were more competitive overall with their pricing. It also seems as if there is really only one employee there who knows what he is talking about when it comes to craft beer. A bit more staff training could lead to better customer service, more sales, and (hopefully) better prices. Overall a solid beer store, however, and absolutely worth stopping in if you are in the area. read more

What an incredible beer and liquor place this is! It doesn't look like a whole lot on the outside, but wow is it massive in the inside selection wise.You walk in and it is just shelves upon shelves of wine. You really gotta know what you want to be successful in that area. Then comes the area of "grab and go" beer. This is where common types of beer, cold and room temperature cases are. Kegs are in the back of this area which is also pretty cool. Then, my favorite part, is the massive room dedicated to uncommon beers. From $6 six packs to $30 six packs to crazy beers you didn't know existed by popular companies, they have them all. You can spend forever just looking at all of the different types trying to decide. Throughout the entire store though, employees are there to help, which is great when you find yourself stumped. Then in the final area towards the exit door are many different types of liquor as well. It's an amazing place that i'll always go out of my way for to make sure that I can choose from a great selection of beer and will never be disappointed. read more
