Pat Landscaping Services - summer preparation!

I called last week for estimates for some pruning in the front yard and some touching up in the…read morebackyard. Pat spoke in depth with me about what we needed done. He said he'll send his other worker Yucute. He came the next day to give us an estimate and said he can come back in a few days (this week). We were impressed because the other places we called had up to a 3 week wait. Yucute did the work for us yesterday. Our front yard went from looking like the entrance of a haunted house to perfectly pruned/trimmed. Our back yard is no longer like a jungle. We have more work that needs to be done so Pat Landscaping will be the company we go to. We need some ivy to be removed so i can start a garden. Yucute said he can pull all the ivory and put some top soil down for the garden. That's really nice because this is my first time trying a garden and i wasnt even thinking about top soil. I'm sure my garden will be successful with Yucute's help. Great customer service and awesome results. Definitely go with this place.

Very good prices, called for my mother who lives on a corner so house and lawn is a bit bigger. Called Pat, he came out in under an hour, cleaned up my mother's place and planted seeds where some of the lawn died over the winter on the same day. Reasonable quote, exceptional service. Absolutely has my business.

DO NOT USE! I paid a lot of money for landscaping that still looks poorly done. The tree layout is…read moreuneven, one was completely forgotten and later planted by hand, and now it's visibly misaligned. The spacing makes the entire front yard look unfinished and thrown together. I was told the boxwoods would fill in within a year; it's been two years and they've barely grown. That was either completely unrealistic or just flat-out misleading. The edging and flower bed work is sloppy and uneven. There's no attention to detail, and it shows. Communication was just as bad. Calls were ignored, and when he did respond, it was with "what do you want to talk about?" -- which is not how you speak to a paying customer. At one point, it honestly felt like his own worker knew more than he did and was trying to guide him, but he didn't listen. This wasn't a one-time mistake, it's a pattern of poor workmanship, lack of knowledge, and unprofessional behavior. Save your money and hire someone who actually knows what they're doing.

I can't say enough about the excellent work done by Cosmo Landscaping. Unsurprisingly, the owner of…read morethe company is a guy called Cosmo, and working with him was a real treat not only because he has such a delightful name, but because the work he does at the price point he offers is unparalleled. Communication, affordability, flexibility, efficiency, assiduity - that's the package you get with Cosmo Landscaping. But what you really need to know is I moved into a new house with a disaster of a backyard - it was full of random old bricks, tiny pebbles, and the corpses of about ten -thousand lantern flies. Those little pebbles I mentioned - man - they were everywhere - and were sort of cheap stone you might expect to find at the bottom of a fish thank rather than sprinkled about your yard like a badly decorated cake manufactured by a kindergartner with free reign of the confectionery cupboard. Alas - such was my yard. And I wanted it fixed - bad. I brought in all kinds of troops. Old friends with big debts to pay who I hoped might do me a favor, family with construction business experience, and even a half dozen landscapers and contractors who all promised the world tied up in a pretty pink bow that would fit right in my backyard. But I didn't trust a single one, until Cosmo showed up. The first thing you gotta know is that I'm not easy customer to please. I can do a good bit of construction myself, and like I say, have the soldiers to rely on should I need a hand. But the thing I don't have is time, and so I hate hiring a guy to do a job that I could have done myself (with a little help from my friends) only to find out the job was done half-assedly and worse than I would have done myself. Cosmo came to give me an estimate in the middle of a horrifying blizzard and stood outside with me for ages thinking through exactly how the project should look. I had half a dozen cockamamie ideas that he talked me out of - thank YHWH - and he even used a bunch of old garbage leftover from the previous owners to demonstrate and help me visualize the ideas he had and to talk me out of my own disastrous line of thinking. Well, long story short, we had a lot of back and forth about the price, the objective, how it would look, the features, and he was good enough to trust that I could handle a good portion of the preparatory labor - so he worked with me on that and we got the job rolling and over a period of time we transformed my yard from no-mans-land to a wee urban oasis. The proof is in the pudding, as they say (see photos below).

I was having getting quotes without incessant attempts to upgrade or expand my project , since (a) the project was small, (b) there is a lot of other work that could be done to my yard. It was really hard to just get a straight forward quote until Mirabella came along. Luis and team were wonderful from the very beginning until the end. He listened to me carefully, and came up with creative ideas and suggestions to make the space work nicely within the scope of what I was asking. They were punctual, polite and professional and obviously care and take pride of their work. The result came out beautiful (we were pleasantly surprised to what a difference it made!). ... Ironically, we decided, unprompted by them, to expand the project a little bit (including a rock garden/patio and some landscaping as well as the pavers), because they did such a beautiful job. We highly recommend Mirabella and will be contacting them again if we decide to do anything else in the future.
