Continues to be the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Normally they will text or robocall when it is time to reorder supplies. That should have happened a week ago, I had to call...they rarely answer the phone and leave a message. Received a call back today. Woman says supply call wasn't made because there was a note in the system that I needed to speak to one of their Cpap therapist. That note was three months old. At that time I spoke to a therapist and she did not follow through on what she said she was going to do. I wish Medicare would drop this provider and set up a company that does the correct job. I never receive my supplies without calling. And calling is another matter. I am on hold for at least 1/2 hour each time I call. The machine is great, but the service is lousy, at best! read more

I use the Johns Hopkins Medical Equipment branch in Springfield, Virginia, to provide supplies for my CPAP machine. This has been going on for 6 years and when I can get through (calls normally take 45 minutes to an hour to get through) I usually get timely service. The problem is the amount of time it takes to get through. There have to be other service providers -- I hope -- I am searching now. Really sad situation. Incredibly high prices, poor customer service and no penalty. Essentially, "... if you don't like our service, go to Canada." Sad. read more

Was fitted for CPAP machine and they took over an hour to explain everything and I never felt rushed as I was pretty reluctant about the whole thing. She listened to my concerns and suggested a mask that was actually comfortable and not as confining as I thought. She demonstrated everything and home I came. It wasn't bad at all and I was able to sleep fine. (Big surprise). The third day: night I had an issue with my mask not sealing and I called the next morning and was put right with tech who made a suggestion I tried it and it worked and I was all set for the next night. I have used this company for years, but the last 2 have been horrible. You can never get to speak to the correct person, they bill you for things and then when you pay (on time) they say they didn't get it when you have proof they did. I have had to call and be on the phone for at least 1 hour or more to get it straight. They say oh it went to this account instead of the correct one. Well the bill has only 1 account number so it's someone in the office doing something wrong. I had to go back and forth to get them to switch it to the right account. They admitted they were wrong but still put you through the ringer saying it was never paid and it was going to collections but they pull it back when the realized you have the proof. Who wants to deal with a company like that or have there credit ruined because they don't know what they are doing. I will NEVER use them and ADVISE everyone to find another company. Received delivery of a bedside commode for my mother on Saturday. My mother passed away almost three months ago. Hopkins was notified of her passing. The delivery was a reminder of her suffering. When I called to ask why the commode was sent - waited over 18 minutes for someone to answer - the agent said that there wasn't an order in her account. I have been using Johns Hopkins Pharmaquip for over 10 years for my CPAP supplies. Usually, my suppy orders are correct and arrive in a timely manner. My current CPAP machine is 10 years old and the lcd now reads that the motor has outlived its normal usage and I should contact my provider. I contacted Hopkins a few weeks ago and was told that my doctor needed to fill out a form. I explained that I had a doctor's appointment on June 1. The woman at Hopkins said that she would fax the form that was needed to my doctor on May 31. She did not do that. So...my doctor wrote a prescription...but that's not acceptable. Today I was told that Hopkins supply of CPAP machines was limited and they would get back to me when their inventory was better. Unacceptable. Every time I have ever called, I have had to wait on hold for almost an hour!!! Staff is very nice, but really?! An hour!? If you actual have a job and work during typical business hours, this is not the company for you, because you will have to risk your JOB to get a person on the phone! read more
