Many gas stations might offer 2-3 flavors but this Swift had NINE slush flavors and 4 Icee flavors. (I personally have always liked Slush over Icee so this is favorable to me... except I don't like to have much sugar so I didn't partake in the brain freeze inducing fun.) The interior appeared new and clean. There was an area for hot food in addition to the typical gas station fare of cold cooler beverages and carby snacks. I even believe I saw a "beer cave." The price was alright... I wouldn't stop regularly but an occasional treat won't break the bank. The 16oz size was like $2 and the 24oz was like $2.89 (I think.) Total came to $7.30. The only real negative was the cashier. Upon leaving, it's mind boggling to me how a 7 year-old can notice and say, "Boy, she wasn't very friendly, was she?" Hahaha. Omg! Yes!!! She was NOT friendly indeed. I'm glad someone else picked up on that. Maybe her face would have broken if she tried to smile. Who knows. Didn't feel like it caused a huge drop in rating nonetheless. All in all, we were pleasantly surprised with the variety of sweet frozen drinks. We'll be back!

We paid and went and sat directly outside the door. Now, the box of the squishy was pretty damaged, but I didn't think anything of it, so I opened it and the bag, it was in was ripped open, still didn't think anything of it until I took out the squishy and it was broken. so I was kind of mad, and I went inside to see if I could return it and the "manager" told me If the bag was closed , then I could return it so he opened it, and of course the bag was ripped open and he told me that it could not be returned. I argued that it was that it was like that when I bought it, but he told me I was a liar and proceeded to open every single other box to show me that they all came closed and the boxes that he opened were also damaged and most of the bags were ripped open as well and he would hold them closed and tell me that I was lying and they were closed. I didn't feel like fighting him, so I grabbed my squishy and went out the door to my cousin. I told her what happened and she wasn't happy but we decided to leave cause we didn't want to fight anymore P.S " manager's" name is Iris Worst customer service I have ever had. This morning I realized my gas tank was in need of a fill up. I was in and out of this gas station in no time! The pumps here are extremely fast, impressively so actually. I like that there is a lot of room between pumps so you aren't too close to anyone else pumping gas. It helps to spread out the fumes, loud car music, and generally is safer as people enter and leave. I don't know why I don't stop here more often. I guess I will now.

However, this review is more about the actual store called Oyster Creek Country Store. So, this store is a tiny little thing with your average convenience store amenities, a little cleaner than most gas station stores. I usually buy lotto tickets here when the jackpot grows to be too tempting not to buy a ticket. They make the process easy, especially for this girl who only buys a few tickets a year. They also have a special on their fountain drinks -- once you have a Styrofoam cup from them that you have purchased at regular price, you can refill it as many times as you want on different visits for $.99. The cups are actually bigger than the size you get at McDonald's next door for $1.00, plus you are kind of saving the environment through recycling. So, if you are a soda addict like me, this is not a bad deal. So, those are the two main things I do here besides get gas. Yes, this makes my life sound pretty boring, but I swear it's not.

Sure, I've heard that folks like Matthew McConaughey and Hakeem Olajuwon have been spotted here buying groceries. I've also heard from friends that Arlan's seems to always have what you need. Though this place is certainly worthy of a full grocery shopping trip, it's medium size also makes it outstanding for quick 3-5 item shopping trips. The meat, produce and packaged foods are all bountiful here. You'll also find plenty of paper goods, greeting cards, candy -- you name it. The beer aisle is impressive, with more micros and local micros than the HEB on TX 96 or the HEB just off Bay Area Blvd. in Webster/Clear Lake. And though the footprint is similar in size to the Kroger in Seabrook, this store is far superior in most every department. The prices are a tiny bit higher here than the typical Wal-Mart. But the cool thing is -- you're not shopping at Wal-Mart! I plan on being a regular here.

(It's some craziness up there so be careful) anywho, the floors were dirty, washing machines needed to be wiped down from continued use throughout the day. To me it just felt dirty. As for the convenience store, the gentlemen who work there are really nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend the convenience store. As for the washateria, I would inspect it before using it.
