They only feature the wardrobe from the actual movie sets, which was presented in a way where it helped you remember which scene that they derived from. They also had that 60-pounds scary ahh animatronic "Chuckesme" doll that they got rid of after one feature lolol ... they even had the werewolf cardboard stand-in that they used to cgi over for Jacob and the other werewolves featured in the movies. Something that I thought was super neat was that they used white mannequins to signify human, and grey mannequins to represent the non-human characters. There truly is not much at this museum, but they worked with what they got and made the appearance still gave me in awe. In order to go here, u need to sign in for a 15-minute time slot with the staff person at the front of the location. Come by a couple of minutes before so that you could reserve a spot. They only let 10 people total per time slot, but it is free admission! There are also a bunch of filming locations nearby by walking distance that you can check out while you wait to go into this museum. They brief you on how it will work for your museum visit, but the staff was soooo sweet. Making sure that each visitor understood the history and significance of everything and everyone featured in this museum. Increases your appreciation for the art, even if you are not a fan of the franchise, like myself. Staff is so passionate about their job that you cannot help but want to learn more about it. don't usually review gift shops, but Native to Twilight Gift Shop really stood out…read more Forks is such a small, community-driven town, and you can feel that the moment you walk in. The staff was incredibly welcoming and open--one of the women working there took the time to chat with us, recommend places to eat, nature spots to check out, and even pointed out cool bugs to look for (which honestly made the whole experience feel very local in the best way). I ended up having such a great conversation with her--just genuinely kind and sweet energy. Also, if you're a magnet person... this place is dangerous. They have a really great selection--not just Twilight-themed, but also Port Angeles, La Push, Lake Crescent, and the surrounding areas. My family spent way too long deciding. It's one of those spots that feels less like a tourist stop and more like a reflection of the town itself. Definitely worth popping into while you're in Forks.

The best part of this shop is the cardboard cutout photo op. You can be Bella next to Edward and Jacob, which leaves lots of guests in giggles. They offered other souvenirs beyond Twilight stuff that matched the region. Things felt normally priced for a souvenir store.

Forks was big into the timber industry in its early days before the industry declined. They are also known for their abundance of steelhead trout and salmon in nearby rivers. Forks is one of the rainiest towns in the U.S. It is located on Washington's Olympic Peninsula and has a population of around 3,000 people. When I arrived in Forks, I began to notice two big obsessions in this town - Sasquatch and Twilight. Forks hosts annual festivals dedicated to both of these things. I have never read or seen the Twilight movies, but the town of Forks happens to be the setting of the series. Even though the movies weren't filmed here, a number of locations in Forks were used in some scenes. As I drove around town, I started to see Twilight gift shops, signs and merchandise everywhere. The visitor center has Bella's truck and a gift shop that sells merchandise. I observed groups of fans that traveled to this town just to do self-guided tours of Twilight filming locations. I didn't realize those movies were such a big deal. Forks was close proximity to many of the stops that I did in Olympic National Park. The beaches near Forks like Rialto and La Push are just beautiful. There are a number of good places to eat here too. Sully's Drive-In was a popular hang-out spot. I also found a couple of coffee shops that I enjoyed. Forks is a small town that can be driven through in less than ten minutes. Everyone that I encountered in town were really nice.

There was a nice staff on hand that was answering questions and handing out brochures and maps. The first thing that caught my eye was all of the Twilight gifts and memorabilia. I have never read the books or seen the movies. But the employees were telling me that the setting of the books is here in Forks. There were a number of super fans in the shop that made the trek all the way here to go on self-guided Twilight tours of the town. Out in front of the visitor center are a couple of red vehicles that were used in the movies. Each year, Forks holds an annual celebration honoring the Twilight movies. They also host a sasquatch festival. Here at the visitor center is the Forks Timber Museum and a nature trail. It is a nice area to walk around and explore. This visitor center was a nice place to stop at to get information about my next destination.

When we were here, the retail room was the Forever Twilight in Forks Collection. They have free tours every 15 minutes and is operated by the Forks Chamber of Commerce. It contained authentic costumes worn by the actors in Twilight (both bought at auction and loaned), translated books with the most unique covers, and other memorabilia and decoration from the movies. If you're going to Olympic National Park or are a big Twilight fan, chances are you will pass by Forks. Make a pit stop to check out this multi-functional space and other attractions in the area.

We loved having the…read moretrucks outside for a quick souvenir photo op but what makes this stop great was the enthusiasm that the 2 ladies had towards their town and in particular Twilight and how it has impacted the town in a positive way. They sold us on Forks and we ended up having maybe our best day on the peninsula here and around Forks. Loved the handouts they had ready for visitors and the tips they offered to make our visit enjoyable. Can't say enough good things.
